Horrible customer service experience this summer. Bought almost 500 dollars worth of shoes there. One pair was a lovely pair of leather Taos sandals. I was on a walk and they received a light sprinkling of rain which left tiny dots of rain stains everywhere. They never disappeared. Returned to store and they held on to them so they could reach their rep. I had to leave as was vacationing in Williamstown when this happened. They kept shoes with them and never offered a resolution. Fast forward to September I called them and left a long message. No one returned our call. I had to ask a family member to stop by and help me out. We were told leather shoes should not be worn in rain conditions. As if one should walk in rain boots at all times to avoid being caught in the rain. Leather shoes are meant for walking and the occasional rain shower. THEN Lisa pulled a solid trail angel move: she gave me a ride back to the motel 🥰. I won't forget your kindness, thank you so much for helping out a hiker! I hope the kindness comes back to this...
Read moreVery helpful sales staff. Assisted my wife in getting some new hiking gear. Made recommendations based on her wants and needs and not on what was most expensive. I was here two years ago as well and bought some Patagonia gear that I haven't yet managed to destroy. They have a consignment section too so they're not just catering to people with money to burn. It's a 40 minute drive for me to get here but I'll definitely go there over any area sporting goods stores for that type of thing....
