I moved to the east side and was looking for a new salon to go to.. came across this place and had a few cuts with a few different stylists and was extremely pleased. Decided to go for a change and lighten my dark hair. I knew this would be a process. After my second “color correction” I noticed my hair was two toned due to the bottom being processed longer than the top. I called in and asked if the top half of my hair could be corrected to match the bottom as I spent a good chunk of change at this point. The salon was very accommodating and set me up with Celia the artistic coordinator to have it corrected. I went in for my appointment and she began applying bleach to my whole head which I thought was strange considering I just wanted the top corrected to match the bottom half of my hair but I trusted her. She then in the middle of my service told me she was going to charge me 80 for the service ( I thought I wasn’t going to be charged, but I paid anyhow and added a tip - also the front desk was closing for the night so she asked to collect payment so she could close up ). She washed the bleach out of my hair and took me to the chair to blow dry. My hair is extremely thick mind you and I could see it coming out in the brush and could see her struggling to brush through it. She stopped drying my hair and told me best to let it air dry. Grabbed some conditioning masks from the back and told me to apply them and sent me on my way. I got into my car and touched my hair and it just was coming out in clumps. It felt like jelly. I had extremely thick and healthy hair before seeing her. A majority of my hair was broken off into 2 inch long pieces. Literally your worst nightmare. I couldn’t believe she let me leave knowing my hair was ruined took my money and acted like everything was okay. I went back to the salon and the manager was very apologetic and they gave me free services for a year to fix the damage which was fair but still doesn’t fix the trauma of having your whole head fried off. I do not recommend Celia at ALL. I can’t believe she still has a job...

I’d like to start off by saying I can’t speak highly enough about this salon and the professionals who work there. We planned a manicure/ pedicure party the day before my sister’s wedding (at the Mayfield salon/ spa) and it could not have gone better. The salon handled 8+ people with ease. Mia was absolutely wonderful to work with for organization purposes and had everything planned down to the last detail. She was quick to respond to all of my questions and always emailed me back very promptly. We even made some last minute changes that she handled and organized with ease!

When we arrived cwe were quickly taken back to the spa (which is amazing in itself) and the services were even started a little early to accommodate us! Each woman went from pedicure to manicure or manicure to pedicure with the perfect amount of time in between. We were able to eat the bagels and fruit (which was provided for us by the spa) throughout our services.

The nail professionals were so sweet and great to talk to. They did an amazing job on everyone’s manicures and pedicures. Between services (if you didn’t move directly from one to the next) there was a spacious, comfortable room where we could relax, talk, and drink mimosas.

Throughout our time here, multiple employees came by to ask us how we were doing/ if we needed anything at all. At the end of the spa party, the payment was already added up with tax and gratuity for each woman to make the process go as smoothly and simply as possible.

We would 100% recommend this salon for any spa services/ parties that you are looking to have. The organization, kindness shown to us by every employee, and relaxing atmosphere are unmatched by any salons in the area.
