Okay....so this was my FIRST time coming here and I actually found the place on Offer Up. Dan responded to my messages within 2 hours and was VERY polite. I actually ended up getting off work too late to go the same day but had responded to him stating that I’d come in the AM when they open. He responded close to opening and when I was on my way so I appreciated that as well. Communication is KEY for businesses. On my way, I actually had car trouble and had to pull over within 2 minutes of arriving to the destination. I had been so anxious to get what I was looking to purchase (an iPad Mini 5th Gen) so I made sure he knew what was going on with me whether he was able to read it right then and there, he’d eventually know and wouldn’t hold it against me. I’m just not the type to stand people up if I can help it. I had to call my dad for help because I knew AAA would take FOREVER (PS there is a point to me telling this part of my day so bare with me) Eventually I started losing a cell signal down the side street I pulled over on and decided to abandon the car for the time being and find a restroom until dad arrived. I walked about 2 blocks up and turned and just so happened to see that the place was closer than I expected. I respectfully wore my mask inside and he greeted me with such kindness and excitement. (Didn’t know it was Dan at the time) I asked for Dan and told him who I was and what I was looking for and he was quick to allow me to look at the iPad mini. He didn’t stare me down trying to pressure me to make a purchase, allowed me to use their restroom and let me know the product was new and allowed me to examine it with no problem. The purchase was quick and easy to decide. I let him know what was going on with my car and this man offered me something to drink, allowed me to stay while I waited for my dad to come across town and kept me company with good conversation even inbetween AMAZINGLY helping other customers. This man was a God send yesterday (07/30/2020) allowing me to pass time in the nice AC. I’d DEFINITELY refer ANYONE to this place and will most DEFINITELY be returning. The all over positive reviews are the reasons that brought me to his place of business in the first place and just to be able to say I’m not even a regular customer yet and he treated me with all the respect I could possibly get, I really appreciate that. TOTAL WASTE OF TIME - PRODUCTS ARE FAKE. I communicated with the seller before arranging a time to come to the store because I was interested in purchasing a used pair of Airpods Max for $200. After I drove 30 minutes to the shop, the owner greeted me, smiled, and handed me the “Airpods.” The moment I touched them it was obvious that they were fake and not even a close imitation. The headphones were made from cheap plastic and didn’t connect automatically to my iphone in the way that Airpods would. After I told the owner that the product was fake, he denied it and tried to convince me otherwise. He even brought out a scale to show me that the weight of his imitation product was same weight as my authentic Airpods that broke. He further attempted to gaslight me into believing that he would never sell fake products and that I was all wrong. I wasted time and gas traveling across town, only to find a product that I wouldn’t even buy from a flea market. So I took a whole bag of Dewalt tools about $700 brand new I only needed like 150 to pay a bill and that way it wasn’t much to get my tools back. I called today to find out how much so I can go get them back. The owner says they already sold them mind you it’s been less than a month. I recommend not doing business here and I would prefer George’s pawnshop. They’re actually fair and they don’t belittle people needing help. Let alone sell their stuff within a month. Unless you want somebody ripping you off, I suggest not going to this place. The only reason I gave him one star was because Google makes me.
