I usually post my reviews only when they are exceptional and deserve recognition. In this case, I am modifying the way I review to include "exceptionally poor". However, "recognition" is still justly deserved.
Never in my life have I encountered a gas station attendant with as poor attitude as the young man working here at the date/time I stated earlier.
Upon confronting him about his lack of having toilet paper in the woman's restroom via my partner who'd just came out od there, his response was "oh, the roll is empty already?" He was then asked how often he checks the bathrooms. And supposedly, according to him, it is only upon entering work.
Upon confronting him about the lack of windshield wash fluid typically at every pump at a gas station, to scrub our windshields, he confronted me back by saying, "I know, I've got a lot to do today." Mind you, this was spoken by a young man wearing ear buds at work, and was initially confronted via having to get his eyes off of his phone.
He was then told the men's room soap dispenser was out of soap, which I discovered upon entering the men's room.
I left the establishment.
After pumping gas, a few minutes later I returned, so I could properly wash my hands with soap. I walked into the men's room to wash, assuming he had put new soap in. He informed me he was not trained on changing the soap out in the soap dispenser, and thus couldn't do it. (Note to management: I guess your employee needs more training.) (Another note to management: where does your employee wash his hands if not using soap from the men's room?)
This resulted in a few off the cuff comments from him, and myself. I asked him if the company had a policy against video cameras in the building, fully intending on documenting everything once I came back inside with my phone. He declined to comment on that. Before exiting the building, I told him I was going to go into the women's restroom to wash my hands, and jokingly asked him not to call the cops on me while I am in the women's restroom.
I left the establishment.
I grabbed my phone from my vehicle and came back to document things. At this point, I discovered the doors were locked.
Never have I seen a lack of respect towards a customer such as this. Thus, the 1 star rating.
Management, please look into whomever was working on Saturday, April 27, at roughly 445 pm. They need... "training"... on their job, and considerably MORE training on how to properly handle themselves when it is obvious beyond a shadow of a doubt, that they messed up.
Edit: And to management/owners, do you really wonder why your establishment is virtually empty while the Sheetz next door, while more...
Read moreConfirmed they had the product I needed but made reaching them feel like a call from hell. I called from two different numbers and got nothing. Calls dropped, no voicemail, no pickup. At this point, it feels intentional. Their app doesn’t show current inventory. Their phones don’t work. And unless you have psychic powers or catch a delivery driver mid run, you’ll be stuck guessing like I was. This isn't just bad service,...
