Double Up Pro Shop — Local services in Wilmington

I generally don’t write reviews, but I feel it’s necessary to post this in order to prevent others from having the same experience. I attempted to buy a bowling ball from this pro shop and I never received it. I paid for the ball on a Thursday and I was told that it would be in stock the following week. I called the shop the following week to inquire about my purchase and I was told that it was on back order. I decided to go to the shop 2 weeks after making that call to inquire about my purchase again and was told that it would come in the following week. I called again a week after going to the shop and I was told that the ball was still not coming any time soon. It’s now been nearly 7 weeks since I paid for the ball and when I went to the shop to inquire for a final time, the owner of the shop said “It’s the way the world is right now” and also mentioned that he had 36 other orders that he hadn’t filled. He knew that those orders wouldn’t be fulfilled in a timely manner and still decided to tell customers a made up date of delivery. To any future potential customers, don’t waste your time here.
