Budget Inn — Hotel in Wilmington

I wasn't expecting to much for the price, it was $60 no tax for a 1 bed king (smoking) which he didn't ask if we wanted (smoking or no smoking) when we got there. We were told we had to wait 20 minutes, until room was clean we got there way after 3pm which is check in time. Lots of suspicious people walking around cleaning motel, which NONE look like they work there. Got in room, smell was awful, gum was caked onto carpet (had to wear shoes, while walking around) dirt all over walls, shower was filthy & didn't even looked clean towels were size of washcloth & were thin as ever. It smelled like piss all throughout bathroom, heat/ac barely worked. walls were ripped up! Tv remote was broke! Phone didnt work! Wifi didn't work barely. Frig was not cold at all, did have a good selection of channels. Lots of loud noises outside, you get what you pay for but wouldn't go back. Rooms...

This should be an absolute no-go for anyone even if you're only looking to utilize it for an hour or two. The door in our room didn't even make it to seal with the entire door frame. They didn't even add weather stripping to create a seal, they just installed a piece of threshold on the inside to attempt to hide it but not only did light shine right through but so did bugs and the sirens that was constantly going off in the street 50 ft away. You had to slam the door to even shut it and when doing so, the entire wall would move! Broken furniture, nasty smells and just an absolute rundown horrific property. I had a bad experience here. They do not clean the rooms here. Real sorry looking rooms, makes you feel like you have to get your cash flow up so that you never have to stay a night in a place like this again. The worst thing I seen though is that when I went to the microwave to warm up the Hardee's burger I had brought earlier, I was amazed to find inside the microwave oven a plate of crabs and crab legs. That was crazy! That let me know that they definitely do not clean. I never warmed up my burger, I just closed the microwave and left the crabs there. I do not know how long the plate of crabs been in there. That's the craziest thing I ever seen in any motel ever. I can't wait to check out time in...
