Gordon Pizza and Fried Chicken — Restaurant in Delaware

Fairly unprofessional. While staying at the Super Lodge I ordered dinner from here for two of my friends and myself. When the food arrived the delivery guy just walked into the hotel room without cause or getting permission. After he left I opened the bag containing the wings I had ordered to see that because one container hadn't been closed properly everything inside was covered in wing sauce, and the wings turned out to be very dry. The wings were also not mild as I ordered but spicy. Next I tried the Fried Seafood Combo I ordered. Not only was this meal actually about 75% french fries but the first thing I tried was the crab cake which was disgusting. The fried fish was ok tasting but very hard to chew and super dry. The fried shrimp was surprisingly ok. The last thing I got was a Cesar Salad with Chicken which I was very excited to try only to see they'd forgottento give me any salad dressing. I will never order from here again and would strongly advise against anybody else ordering from here...

I tried Gordon's Pizza and Fried Chicken for the first time today, even though they've been a long-standing spot in our area. They're under new management now, and I was genuinely impressed.

I ordered two large pepperoni pizzas at lunchtime for takeout. The crust was fresh, soft, and had a great texture. The sauce had a sweet, homemade flavor that really stood out, and the amount of toppings was just right for the size of the pizza.

The staff was very polite and attentive—several staff members assisted me while I waited. They offered to add garlic sauce to the crust (which was a nice touch!) and even asked if I wanted my pizza well done since I arrived a bit early and my order was still in the oven. Little things like that show they care about the customer experience.

The inside of the shop was very clean and orderly, which added to the great first impression. I’ll definitely be back and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to others looking for quality pizza and...

Food was good, even though they gave me a wrong sandwich. The review is slightly misleading. However, you are reading it correct. Mozzarella Sticks from a bag is sacrilege!!! They were cooked well. Came with marinara that was excellent but ice cold, I mean it was really good. My cheeseburger sub??? It was a cheesesteak… 😞 Again, good but not correct. Fries were the highlight (included) & for value a soda was added as part of the deal. Service, little disorganized, messed up the sandwich.
