I just feel bad for the pharmacy workers. As far as I can tell, only one pharmacist is keeping the whole place afloat, and I've been there open, close, drive-through, in-person, for prescriptions, or vaccines, you name it. Always just the one pharmacist with (maybe) one or two techs helping.
This dates back to before the pandemic, but obviously things have gotten completely slammed with flu season, booster shots, expanded eligibility for the vaccine, etc.
The one pharmacist is usually very nice and personable, but is occasionally (understandably) flustered. Wait times are always long, customers are often frustrated, and I've had some minor mistakes with how my prescription was filled. Nothing major like wrong drug or wrong dosage or anything, but it is an inconvenience to have to wait in the inevitably long line twice.
Walgreens really should have hired more staff years ago, but with work shortages the way they are, it seems like that boat may have sailed. I don't know whether to give the staff they have 5 stars for trying or give the store 1 star for results, so I've split the difference a little.
Go to the pharmacy half a mile up the road (1508 Philly Pike) if you can help it. I think you, the employees, and fellow customers will all benefit from lightening the burden on...

They only had 2 in stock i asked them if they would honor the sale and the manager who said her name was christina tells me yes but i shouldnt expect it and that its her decision on wheather she wants to honor it or not. I told her they always do. She prceeded to raise her voice when i told her that. I then told her to calm down and act professional so she started to yell over me as i talked. she only had rang up half my items before she told me to put in my phone number in I told her she only had half of my items rang up she continued to raise her voice when I again told her to act professional and act like an adult. She then refused me all services so i asked under what grounds am i being denied service she said i was being demeaning to her. I asked her if she was serious she told me I needed to leave or she would call the cops, after i left the store she followed me outside and continued to yell at me at which point I told her if she followed me to my car harassing me I would be the one calling the cops. Read moreHad a terrible experience with one of the employees there called Janet. She treats her fellow coworkers badly as well. I went to checkout two toothpastes with a digital coupon and manufacturer coupon. So, the machine didn’t punch out the right numbers the first time because it didn’t use my digital coupon. So, Janet had to call the manager. When he came he made a slight mistake of not going behind the counter and then Janet said in a mean voice to the guy “Never come in-front of the counter”. The guy seemed new to the job, but she was not understanding at all. Well in the end we retried to checkout the items a second time and it magically worked. Next, Janet tells us “Next time tell me you have a second account.” in a rude and aggressive voice. First off I didn’t even know we had a second account.
