King Garden — Restaurant in Wilmington

This place is close to my house so....I'd love it to be adequate...I'd like it to be good....I wish it were even just passable....but it is not. I just spent 27$ on two egg rolls, an order of steamed pork dumplings and Hawai'i 5-0 chefs special...egg rolls are bland only cabbage...bad texture and no flavor dumplings with a sauce that was just really salty salty soy sauce ...no ginger. no rice wine just cheap soy saltce. Now I've had many versions of the Hawaii Five-0 chef selection, but this one seem like a misfired order of general tao's chicken and a bunch of sautéed onions in a terrible sauce. This is the third try....another 1 1/2 miles away in Unique Chinese restaurant far better...they'll be my 'go to' from here on out. JUST WANT TO SPARE YOU THE TROUBLE AND...

I’ve been here quite a few times and never had any issues. Recently I ordered, total came $17.20, I gave the lady a $20 dollar bill. Upon counting my change I notice it was short. I told the lady this is short you owe me 80 cents. She says really quickly no it was $17.80, no worries I could have heard it wrong. Fast forward a week later I order the same exact thing, I listen closely this time. She says $17.20 and miraculously she gives me the correct change. Needless to say I will never go back to this store again , if you are willing to steal 80 cents what else are you willing to do. I know there is a change shortage but that not a good reason to steal peoples change. Key word of the day...

Today we ordered from this restaurant, delivery. I find it ironic, at least, that their current policy is apparently contract free only in their own interest. They parked down the street, the delivery guy did not get out of the car, made me drop the cash into a cardboard box so he didn't touch it, and I had to reach into the passenger front window of his car to get the bag of food, something they touched; yet he felt free to give me change from his own $ from his pocket, bare handed, to my hands. Look, contact-free needs to go two ways. Frankly, this action from this restaurant is offensive. Especially since we previously ordered often from them, they know we are covid free, and order from...
