Alice general manager has the worst treatment I have ever seen. Condescending and rude with the spanish patients. Extremely rude with an insane attitude that makes me wonder how she is manager.
And honestly didnât even explain anything about what I needed for my treatment. Zero proper communication, Honestly donât come here there are much better dentists in Vegas.
Honestly the only nice people, the girls at the front and the guy who took my x-ray they donât deserve the treatment of that manager either.
Response: you can tell based on the response. There was no accountability taken. My mom asked for someone to explain my procedure and the insurance policy for my treatment. If they had someone in Spanish. It would be better, so she could understand to the fullest extent, Alice said there was no one, period. Making it clear she did not offer anyone or say that there was anyone available. As my mother was responding to her saying, if there really wasnât anyone available because itwould not be ideal, but itâs OK, I could translate to the best of my ability. Alice very rudely cut my mom off saying, âcan you let me finish. If you let me explain. There is no one.â My mother was just making sure and Alice responded with rudeness and an awful tone that made me turn around to look at her. When Alice saw me looking at her, she said in the most condescending tone ever. âWhat are you looking at me like that. Do I have some thing on me. Youâre so sweet.â and throughout this whole thing she kept touching my shoulder in the most condescending way as you can imagine. things of course escalated me and my mom decided to leave. But before that we asked to see a manager just to report this attitude. She said she was a manager. We said thatâs surprising because youâre attitude. And she said no. Iâm not the manager. Then she said again. I am the manager. Then she said Iâm not the manager. Which one is it?
as for the treatment, it was very briefly explained to me. It is sad, but true that there wasnât a proper communication, especially for the procedure. I was going to do and especially on the insurance information. for example, I could get my wisdom teeth removed surgically, and the doctor gave me a reference of another doctor which would do it. Alice said to me. âOh, donât do that,â and just decided to give back the reference to the doctor. No explanation. Again, the doctor tho briefly, she did explain the procedure to a certain extent and gave me all my options, my only problem here is the manager Alice she was not cooperative or professional, while explaining the insurance issue or the treatment she just wanted to do what she wanted to do.
Letâs make it clear. just because Alice (just her) decided that we didnât need a translator. She never offered one. She never said there was one, and when we asked, she responded with a very rude tone. At first, we just asked for someone to translate the treatment. We didnât ask for a speaking Spanish manager only at the end when we wanted to make a complaint because things were just escalating thatâs when we asked for Spanish-speaking manager, she never offered the girls at the front or anyone letâs make that clear. As well, why would we decline to speak to someone that we wanted to speak to in Spanish why would we decline that? Besides, what dentist decides to confront the patient. Just because I looked at her. this place would rather make up, lies and excuses, than take accountability for the one worker Alice, the only worker that was rude and condescending that created the worst treatment iâv ever received, and the worst environment. I cannot even imagine what the other workers go through with her and her attitude, if she is...
Read moreI'm BEYOND upset. I went to Smiles Today Dental and it was all around the WORST experience in my life! My 6 week old daughter was feeding while we were waiting. It was no problem. We were quietly sitting off to the side not drawing attention. I don't cover but I have small breasts and my baby covers most anyways. I don't cover for many reasons but quite frankly none of those matter because I do not have to! So everything is good. We get called to the back. Person comes to explain what's going to happen today and sees I'm feeding my angel. She literally is taken aback in disgust, gasps, tells me that is "highly inappropriate" and walks away. She then comes back with a paper napkin and opens it getting ready to put it on my baby!!!! I took my daughter off my breast and handed her to her father. Trying to keep my cool as I'm in a lot of pain and needed my visit. She was still hungry but staying quiet. Went to get my xray (singular, what I was there for free exam and 1 xray) they ended up taking 2. Whatever they knew I was there for the free exam and xray and did not have insurance. So we come back and my daughter is now fussing and crying because she hungry. So I get up to ask to speak to an office Manger. I was instructed to go sit down. I was even more upset and frazzled because my daughter is in distress. Dr comes in. Tells me I need to see a specialist. Hands me a printed copy PAPER. BLACK AND WHITE REGULAR PAPER of the xrays and my referral. Which was awesome. Did it to help save us money at the specialist so they did not need to do it again and recharge for xrays. Same lady as before who was disgusted by me breastfeeding says my visit will cost $25.... I ask politely what for as I was here for the special they ALWAYS offer. It's literally a permanent part of their GIANT sign out front. She gets pissed and snatches the printed copy out of my hands and says "we can't give you this then" literally like a CHILD. I couldn't believe it. So I go back and forth with her over this $25 piece of paper. She says is not her job to know all the specials they run and says she doesn't care. I'm not getting a free exam, free xray, and digital copy of my xray. At this point I'm like holy hell lady you are an IDIOT. whatever! I get up to leave and speak to the office manager. Come to find out SHE IS THE MANGER. oh my god! So she pulls me into the office trying explain this digital copy (mind you it's a piece of printer paper.) We go back and forth and I bring up the fact she tried to cover my baby saying me feeding her was completely out of line and inappropriate as it is state and federal law. She tells me dhe knows but she has 3 kids and she does not think its appropriate and her dr does not want to see that... She has no right to refuse law and a deny a hungry baby nurishment over what she feels is appropriate or not. I inform her I will be contacting the BBB. She then tried to give me the paper to appease me. I told her no keep it as she tried to force...
Read moreWhen I arrived to my appointment I found out that they do not take my insurance (although they initially approved it over the phone). There were two girls working the front desks and neither of them was really helpful. One of them told me that they do not accept my insurance but I could still receive the free consultation. She gave me a packet to fill out and took my Identification card.
On the bright side the wait to be seen was very short, and I was taken back for x-rays rather quickly. After the dental radiologist took a few x-rays of my wisdom teeth, they quickly informed that I would need to have one of these teeth extracted. At this point they transferred me into another room, and had me sitting and waiting for about 30-45 mins. When one of the nurses and a dentist finally returned they informed that I would need to shelve out $200-250 to have one tooth extracted. Somehow this whole situation rubbed me the wrong way. For one thing, they did not even do a thorough job in checking my teeth or taking the x-rays. They took an x-ray of one side my mouth which they had to retake about 3 or 4 times. Next, the nurse did not even examine my teeth to make this determination. It seems like they were just trying to make a pretty penny off of pulling one tooth. I asked if they could provide a referral to another dental office that might accept my insurance and cover this type of service. The nurse declined to offer any referrals and said that she would cut me a deal and extract the tooth for $200 instead of the initial price of $250. I got out of the dental chair so quick after hearing this. After leaving the dental office, I found out about 2-hours later that the receptionist failed to return my I.D. card. I did not receive a courtesy call from anyone to let me know that I left it. So, I took upon myself to call to make sure that they still had it in their possession. I had to double back to retrieve it at this lousy place. Overall, this is one of the worst dental clinics that I have ever visited. Going to the dentist has never been a walk in the park, but this place seems confirm my...
