Junk Happens — Local services in Winder

Up here visiting some family and hoped to find some good thrift stores. This store is like a large antique, collectables and thrift store all in one! My sister and I literally spent 3 hours here, and purchased quite a bit! So much fascinating stuff from different consignment vendors! Mostly great old stuff, but also some lovely new things too - and prices very reasonable. Hunt for treasures for yourself, or buy a gift for a friend! The employees were also very helpful and friendly. My sister is in a wheelchair and it was plenty roomy for us to get to nearly every section of the store with no issues, not all crowded like some antique shops, very clean and well organized. I can only speak to the price of his anvils, and they are extremely unfair. They are MINIMUM 3 times higher than the going fair market value for antique anvils of that quality. I have talked with the owner and he has no issue with charging so high above fair prices because he believes if someone is dumb enough to pay these prices for an anvil, then they deserve to be separated from their money. I would definitely not recommend ever buying an anvil from him, and probably avoiding this...

Arrived about 5:15 pm. Everything says they are open until 6 pm. Girl flies by saying "we'll be closing within 10 minutes".
