Soo I had an OK experience. It just seems like the lady with the highlights that works the desk catered to everyone else except me. She offered everyone water except me. When I had an issue with the lady who was doing my pedicure, i tried to call her over, but she pointed to this other guy to address my concern. Soo I got gel polish on my finger nails and a gel pedicure. Initially there was an older lady with a hat and glasses doing my pedicure and she wasn't filing all of my nails to look neat and uniform so I nicely asked her to correct it by voicing my concerns and she got mad at me, the paying customer, and starting going on a rant in her language. This is when I tried to let that lady with the highlights know what was going on, but she sent this guy over who was wearing a black face mask. I expressed my concerns and told him how the lady got mad at me for me wanting my pedicure done right and how my birthday was coming up and I wanted my toes to look nice. He was very attentive to the issue, looked at my toenails and immediately had her get up. He told V to do my pedicure and she did such a great job. The guy who painted my gel nails did a great job as well. But more so than anything, I really appreciate the guy who nicely and attentively came over to correct the situation. It is because of my interaction with these three people that I give four stars. I don't get manicures and pedicures often, but when I do, I'll probably try to find a nail salon where everyone is welcoming, and will use this one as a last resort. Again, kudos to the guy with the black face mask, I really appreciate him more than...
Read moreI had to write this review after seeing a previous review of a customer saying how bad of a service Creative Nails was to a disabled customer! First off, I suffer with a physical disability that causes me not to be able to get up properly out of a chair and I am ashame to get up at times around others. Creative Nails treats me so wonderful. Kelly allows me to make PRIVATE APPOINTMENTS with her before the salon opens! Not only do I come to my private appoints but Kelly makes sure she have me water - she also holds my chair for me so I can sit down easily... she holds my chair for me when I also stand up... if I am in super pain.... she rolls me in the chair towards the back of her shop where she takes her time to assist me. Not along this- she’s been doing this for me while she’s pregnant! That’s a lot. She does this because she is not only a owner of a nail salon but because she genuinely care about people! I love her. She made me feel like I’m worth it all. I always go to her from now on because her salon is my home and she is my family! You guys- please trust me when I say this! Ms. Kelly is one of a kind. She will do anything for any of her customers to make them feel like they...
Read moreI wanted to love this nail salon, I really did. My nail tech did an amazing job, but they charged me a different price at the end then they told me it would be at the beginning. Which is my BIGGEST pet peeve at nail salons.
I even called ahead and told them exactly what I needed done to clarify the price and make sure there were no hidden up charges. On the phone, they told me it would be 40, at the end they charged me 50. I didn’t have any broken nails, I wasn’t changing the shape (came in almond and left with it almond), and I didn’t need them cut shorter (just normal file from grow out). They told me that the up charge was for cutting them shorter and for a shape change. I kept them the same shape and the same length. I know it’s only $10, that’s not the point. The point is being honest and transparent up front.
Giving 3 stars because yes, they did a great job. But I hate when there’s not honesty and transparency in the cost from the...
