Norman's Hallmark Shop — Local services in Windsor Township

Went in for a last minute purchase tonight with 7 minutes to spare till closing. Having worked in retail before, I greeted the only employee in the store and said politely I'll be quick. I had a very specific item in mind when I walked in and wanted to see if they had it. I was then looked up and down with a scowl as the employee said, "you have about two minutes". I looked at my phone and still saw the seven minute mark till closing, and remarked, "you close at 6 right?" She looked at her clock and bartered with me, "okay you have four minutes and I already counted my drawers so you have to pay with a credit card." I hung my head and walked over to the ornaments and saw one that I had been looking for, but the woman had made me feel so uncomfortable and unwelcome I just turned and walked out the door. I looked back and saw with three minutes to spare she had locked the door behind me. I have to say this was a poor excuse for customer service and in no circumstance should you ever run your customer out the door, even if it is close to closing time. Also, I've never heard of a store that counts the drawers before the doors are locked and with customers still in the store. Unpleasant experience. Would not...

Hallmark is the perfect place to purchase unique and meaningful gifts. I don't think you can go wrong by choosing anything from this store. Every time I have visited this particular shop the staff have always been extremely friendly and helpful. Recently they directed me right away to the particular cards I was looking for. They always give good direction. It's always clean and well organized. I love the choice of options that they have. I like that they carry a lot of different scents of Yankee Candles and the plugins that way I don't have to travel all the way to the mall. I love that they really do have cards for every occasion. In particular I was looking for a Christmas card for my mail lady and they had a ton of options. I would definitely recommend this...

Poor customer service! I had placed two online orders days apart to be shipped to this store. I never received ANY notification that they arrived. I called and identified myself and that I was calling because I had not received any notice my items arrived and the response from the grouchy female on the other end was "oh yes, yes we have called you and it rings busy." Incorrect! I asked what the phone # was you were calling and you told me a different # than what was written on the paper when I picked up the items. I did review my call log, you called ONE time and I didn't recognize the number and left it go my Google answering service.
