The Blue Dragonfly Gift Shop — Local services in Windsor

I was in South Windsor and decided to look for gift shops nearby. I am so glad I chose the Blue Dragonfly to stop at. :)

Easy to find. Plenty of parking. Bright, well lit store- beautiful ambience. The store does not have overwhelming fragrances like many gift shops do. It just smells clean. :)

The gifts are all very well arranged- beautifully spaced. There is so much to look at. The items are unique and reasonably priced - nothing is over the top. There is a wonderful selection of purposeful and intentional items. The displays aren’t overly commercial. They are designed to encourage touching and feeling. The prices are clearly marked and easy to find.

The service is wonderful- there is no pressure, just warm, welcoming conversation. The staff member today was Amaya. She took the time to thoughtfully wrap the many unique presents I found. She made each one look special. The gift wrapping was truly a gift of time for me! I so appreciated it! I was able to spend more time and money buying more gifts while Amaya was wrapping. :)

I found unique and special gifts for the special folks I had in mind. The store was filled with purpose driven gifts.

During the week- the store is a job site for folks with disabilities. There is a huge room. There are also cute gifts made in store.

This is a great small business. It was wonderful to actually enjoy shopping for gifts vs feeling overwhelmed. I left with 2 huge bags filled with beautifully wrapped gifts and extra time in my day. Amaya truly made my day!

Amazing place great cute gifts and things you will not find other places. Yes as stated by another some of the prices are a little more expensive but not outrageously. Also the owner of this business provides jobs to individuals with disabilities and helps support them in other ways and this is an individual not an organization. This is a great local gift shop. You get unique gifts here from various artists that make things by hand. The gifts are very affordable.
