This is a terrific yarn shop! Rachael is very knowledgeable about all the aspects of the different yarns—how they knit, how they will hang, etc. She is also helpful with other aspects of working with fiber, such as felting. All the knowledge and help is delivered cheerfully and patiently, and she respects your ideas and opinions. All of this is delivered in a store that is well-stocked, but not overwhelming. It’s nice to once again have a yarn shop where the crafts associated with the fibers are featured and embraced, not shoved in the bleak and dark back corner of a chain store. Rachel is so good about helping you find the right yarn and in your price rang for your project. Plus if you are looking for a new project she has the latest knitting and crochet patterns for using up stash yarn too. I love her selections of local indie dyed yarns. Signup for emails, and she only emails once a month letting you know all things happening. Like trunk shows with her local indie dyers.
