Headwaters Center — Local services in Winter Park

We had our wedding at the Headwaters Center in August 2021 and we truly can’t say enough wonderful things about this venue! Not only are the building and surroundings absolutely stunning (reclaimed barn, amazing patio, mountains, rivers, pine trees, amphitheater), but the staff are all so incredible as well. Our wedding was one of the first to be affected by the COVID pandemic, with our original date in April 2020, initially postponed to August 2020, and finally happening in August 2021. We worked with Samantha, Ellen, and Marissa, and throughout all the uncertainty, stress and panic of postponing multiple times, they were all so kind, accommodating, professional, and patient. Once our day (finally) arrived, Ellen and Marissa were fantastic support, jumping in to help with set up, bartending, and anything else you could imagine. We also really loved that the Headwaters Center completely handled the bar/bartenders (less stress on us, and the bartenders were awesome!), provided/set up/tore down all chairs/tables/linens (both for the ceremony and reception), and allowed us to have our rehearsal on site the day before. Having lodging options nearby for our guests was also important to us and being right in downtown Winter Park, the Headwaters Center certainly met that mark, as well. Again, we could not more highly recommend this...

Beautiful venue, but absolutely terrible bar tending staff. Male bartender cut off half the wedding with an hour left in the night. Guy was on a complete power trip, does not deserve to work at a venue where the cost is this high.

Edit: Thank you for the response. I totally understand the need for proceedures to be in place to ensure the safety of everyone involved. In this instance, it seemed as though this one particular bartender was arbitrarily cutting off whoever he wanted, without any form of communication or reasoning. And he was quite rude and condescending while doing so (not to mention underdresed for the event). I would have no objections if people were getting rowdy, violent, or out of control, but it felt like an unnecessary course of action given the circumstances.

The Headwaters Center is an event center in Winter Park, CO. Upon arrival we were excited to see a beautiful horses drawn carriage. The horses were beautiful to watch. This building is beautiful and could be used as a wedding reception, anniversaries, business or pleasure. The view from the building with doors open is spectacular. The square footage is tremendous, to include the upstairs. The Headwaters Center signage is clear to see from Highway 40. The building is handcap accessible, to include an elevator. There are public restrooms that are conveniently located. The saturday we were there, they had a dinosaur exhibit and interaction activities for the children.
