Maestros Hair Studio — Local services in Winter Springs

My wife went to Hair Cuttery in Winter Springs about 2 months ago. She wanted a perm in hopes of a little change with her hair. When she came home she was in tears. She had fine straight hair just past the shoulders. When she came back they cut about 7 inches off then did a perm that literally burned the hair and scalp. She looked like little Orphan Annie. Her hair had thin spots and her bangs were basically gone. Her hair was so damaged it was like burnt straw. This had to be the worst cut and style I have seen given to a woman. My wife wore a scarf at home all the time including to bed. She was devastated. She went back and they did absolutely nothing. The person who did the style said her hair was like that. They are lucky I wasn't there to hear that reply. I have pics a couple of weeks before and then after. Her hair was not burned. We called for advice from another salon who had us get product to help condition and draw out the orange in her hair. A couple of weeks later and money flushed down the drain her hair was still a mess. I finally said we need to send her to a salon that can possibly help. I called Maestros and explained the issue. We were told one of the girls was the one who could help if it was possible. We met one of the stylist who was shocked how bad it was. I told her my wife wasn't allowed hone until she got help lol. I was assured she would come home better off than when she got there. 3 hours later my wife walked in smiling ear to ear. They got the perm out and the color back to just about normal . Her hair looked conditioned and back to being how it looked healthier. She looked fantastic. She kept flipping her hair out of happiness. LOL The sad part of all this is when my wife went back to Hair Cuttery for help they dismissed her. So much money later and the help of a great stylist she got the help needed. If Hair Cuttery would have simply said yes there is a issue and we will try and fix it we both would have been understanding and taken the help. The fact the hair was fixable tells us the ball was dropped. Hair Cuttery will not get our business and I will make sure I tell this to anyone wanting their hair done there. Thank you to Maestros for stepping in and bringing a smile back to my wife. They say happy wife happy life and I now understand haha. Thank God no more scarfs being worn lol. I took my girls to this hair salon. They did a double braid wash and blow dry. They charged me $130. That should have been maybe 50 or $60 for both. My mom who took them to get their hair done. She only paid $50 to get her hair washed, blow, dried and curled. I understand that they are their own person but I feel like they took advantage of the situation. I have taken them and gotten the same hair done and it's only cost me 20 or $25 her kid and all they did was something I could have done at home but I chose for them to go out with my mother to have a girls day. She comes home and says that both girls plus tip was over $130. If you choose to take your child here to get their hair not even cut, I the hair style and braid was not even good. They didn't pin any of the hair up. Hair was all over the place. Even the hair was not even braided enough to last an hour.
