If you're going to land your boat in Winthrop, I highly suggest you use the Winthrop boat landing! By far it is the most land/ water accessible boat ramp that I know of in the Winthrop area. The Winthrop Town Boat Landing is a great place to launch your boat. It's open 24 hours, so you can go boating whenever you want. The landing is well-maintained and has a large parking lot. There's also a boat ramp that's easy to use. The water is clean and clear, and there are plenty of fish to catch. The views of the Boston skyline are amazing. Also. Great boat ramp. Plenty of parking. Nicely kept property. Clean facility. Nice picnic tables. Only thing lacking is a little shade. On a sunny day... It's a bit hot for a picnic....
