I definitely appreciate a good one better than a mediocre one but at the same time I'm not too picky. I had read a review before going about their pad Thai, saying it wasn't inedible but that they should have known better than to order pad thai from a Chinese food restaurant. This is the simplest, most accurate way to describe it. Very bland and missing that special something that gives Thai food it's unmistakable flavor palette. I never tried their old food food, but since reopening i think they are just trying to do too much. They serve cuisine from a wide variety of Asian countries, each with their own unique blend of foods and spices. They simply cant keep ALL of the proper ingredients on hand and they different preparation tools on hand to be able to create prepare and serve all of these dishes the way they are supposed to be. Through no fault of their own, because the food itself is well prepared, except overreaching on their menu they've turned it into a mediocre place that is more likely to be stopped at because it's the only thing open rather than a place you...
Read moreI've had two very disappointing delivery experiences, now, where the food has arrived at least thirty minutes after the later end of the estimated delivery time. I most recently placed an order at 5:58 PM. The given delivery time was 6:55-7:05, and the food didn't arrive until 7:48. I called the restaurant at 7:17 to inquire about when the food would be arriving and was told, "the driver already left the restaurant, can you wait 5 more minutes?" In addition to a very long wait time, I am disappointed by the lack of apology or acknowledgement of poor service. I called back at 7:26, after the food had still not arrived, and requested that the driver be called to find out when the delivery would occur. I was told that it would be another 10 minutes (1 hour and 50 minutes after the order was placed). When the food finally arrived, it was, unsurprisingly cold and needed to...
Read moreOrdered takeout (Kung pao chicken which doesn't come with rice, sweet and sour soup, white rice as a side, and house dragon roll). Food came exactly on time and well packaged. However, honestly very average and personally not for me. Kung pao chicken was good, just a lot, and had a lot of big chunks of bell peppers and onions that weren't really cut up. Sweet and sour soup wasn't sweet at all, just sour. I ended up pouring it into a pot and adding some sugar to make it sweet. It was fine at best. White rice is good, fluffy. House dragon roll was good but very little eel sauce on top.
Overall average for me personally. I used a grubhub gift card a friend had gifted me and I felt like the money could have gone...
