The owner & staff are very helpful.

One of the hidden gems are the delmontico steaks they sell at this location. They are usually $1 cheaper than most places and amazingly good. My relatives came for a visit and I put a few of those Delmonico steaks from Wixom Food Market the grill. Everyone was very happy and those steaks were a smash hit. The staff in this store are pretty good at providing good beer/wine suggestions as well; as I like to try new things ( The Japanese beer Sapporo was supremely smooth and an surprisingly good suggestion). The staff is very down to earth and helpful.

Don't let the store layout fool you, it's actually a diamond in the rough and us now my first stop for grilling...

It is a very dirty store. The owner is inattentive. The event that made me stop going there was as follows: One afternoon I walked in to buy something from the counter. The door/sound alarmed as it does when a customer walks in. There was no one in sight and no one to greet me. I looked around and said "hello..?" The owner was cooking food, looked up at me, did not say a word, and continued to do what he was doing. I then continued standing at the counter for an uncomfortable amount of time. Guessing that he was too busy or rude to help me, I walked out and have never went back. I go to the party store down...

Very nice family market; full range of excellent quality liquor/wine selections; pop and snack foods galore; wonderful fresh custom meat counter; freshly made carry out food counter w/fried chicken, fish, potatoes, pizza slices, macaroni and cheese, daily choices; small selection of fresh produce, breads, dairy, canned items, household goods; lotto, excellent service, all done with abundant smiles from a great family that truly cares about their customers.
