Stepping into the Mostly Mutts store in Acworth is a truly heartwarming experience, especially when you realize the incredible cause behind every purchase. The store itself is a hidden gem. It’s remarkably clean and well-organized, with a wide variety of donated items that make you want to browse every aisle. From clothing and furniture to household accessories and pet supplies, everything is displayed thoughtfully, making it easy and enjoyable to find a treasure.
However, the real highlight of the store is the staff. Every person we interacted with was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They were happy to help us find what we were looking for and eager to share the mission of the organization. Their passion for the animals is contagious and adds a layer of purpose to your shopping trip.
The most important and impactful part of the experience is knowing that every dollar spent goes directly to the Mostly Mutts Animal Shelter. This store isn't just a place to find great deals; it’s a crucial lifeline for the shelter's operations. The money raised here helps cover the costs of running the shelter and providing essential care for the dogs and cats, from food and medical treatments to a safe place to stay while they wait for their forever homes.
Mostly Mutts is more than a thrift store; it's a community hub for animal lovers. It's a place where you can find something special while knowing you are directly contributing to the well-being of animals in need. It's a rewarding experience that makes you feel good about your purchase long after you've...
Read moreMe and my husband went in to check The new thrift market on 92 never wade green for the first time, boy were we very offended. We were the only people in the store at the time of entering. we started roaming around checking out what they have and the shift manger Heather came from the back to see what we were up too, she used the excuse of asking if she can take the items up to the counter we had at hand. When she went up too counter where the rest of the employees were at,we over heard her telling the employees and was waving a small phone case that I did pass too her as one Of the items that I am purchasing, and said keep your eyes on the customers. Reminder we were the only ones in that store. Then Three of the employees were trying to watch and hover over us while we were still trying too look, then my husband came up with the idea that maybe we should leave! By the time other customers were coming in that same attention was not put on them like it was done to us.(were of Latin decent)we will never go there again!!! And a week prior to that before going into that store, I donated a bed frame! Never again!!!! And still spent 50 bucks in there! Thanks for experience I’ll be passing the word around I’ll be informing the...
Read moreI went in to shop for the first time. It’s very big and spacious and had lots of great items. I plan to definitely return when I can go thrifting again. My ONLY feedback was due to it being run by volunteers, there was a very wide mixture of personalities. A few people were very kind and nice. A few also, shoved by me in isles, and when I was ringing up I overheard them asking each other what sizes I was purchasing, was I “flipping” or reselling. This is too much. Really does it matter to them what someone will do with an item after they purchase it. They are supporting them and buying, which is ultimately what should matter. The advice I would give is to stop this behavior, it made me feel very attacked as I’m swiping my card for 200 bucks. I get the human nature of wanting to know details, but treat each customer the same is my motto when I’m servicing. You can never look at a person and determine their pocketbook, just like you can never look at what a person is buying and force rank them or know all the details of them. I’m still rating 5 stars for now, as I hope it was maybe a one off and these ladies won’t do this to...
