If there was a rating less than one I would post it. My wife and I have never been treated so unprofessionally. As new customers long before the holidays we dropped off a beverage cooler that needed repair. We paid the deposit fee and we agreed if I ordered the parts for it, I was promised the unit would be complete by the holidays. We needed the unit because of various holiday partys coming up and they were made well aware of this. I ordered the parts while standing in thier store and they arrived at thier store within a week. The holidays came and went without even so much as a status call from them. After the holidays I had to call them, when I did I was rudely told they hadnt gotten to it, and i was welcome to come in a pick up my unit. I asked if they wanted me to and i was told they didnt care but they would complete it within the following week.
Two weeks later I came to the store in person. The unit hadnt been touched. I was told it wasnt done and they didnt have the staff to do it soon and there were many more in front of us.
While there the Owner came walking in said he had just been in court, he was stressed. Then for no reason, since I had said nothing to him he said hes was calling 911, that I should get out of his store and take my unit with me.
I did and currently have my unit at a local service store, very pleasent to deal with that promised me a less than three day turn around since I already had the parts.
I notice many other very unsatisfactory ratings on this and many other sites on this company. I completely agree with those negative ratings and add our own very negative experience and rating here. The unit was dropped off the last week in November. They had the unit almost a Month after they received the parts without even a call, and then being told there were many more ahead of us without a completion projection. We were more than patient. I would also add the store itself is dirty, the floors havent been washed in a very long time and everything is completely disorganized and in disarray. We would not recommend this...
Read moreWhere to start? First off, all the other reviews are accurate. Don't expect any communication unless you call them. They have been at my house SEVEN, yes, SEVEN times! I have had a broken stovetop for almost THREE MONTHS, yes, THREE MONTHS now with no end in sight! First, Jessica said she ordered "every possible part" about a month into this circus act. Well, my stovetop was not repaired. Then we had multiple 1 week to 2 week waits for more parts with the "last possible part" arriving earlier this week. I was not home and the "last possible part" still did not fix the problem. You would think they would immediately call me with a plan, after all we are almost THREE MONTHS without a functional stovetop! No phone call! A day later I call and Jessica has the nerve to tell me she was busy! We are almost at THREE MONTHS and I am done with them. At one point I tried to call and talk to Bob (the supposed owner) and she would not let me. I think at this point, Bob should be the one calling me with apologies. I hope they don't plan to send me a bill because they didn't fix my stovetop. I have to go somewhere else. In addition, we don't wear shoes in the house and they just come walking in every time with their nasty shoes on! They didn't even ask me if they should take them off or not. They should ask or have booties. We do not wear shoes in our house and I find just walking into someone's house without asking about that is rude...

I found the big box stores only wanted to drive you online to complete a purchase (and hunt for a store that has the machine in stock) and were unable to respond quickly to our need for delivery of a new machine. We decided on an American-made brand and Thompson was listed as a dealer. They provided forthright, knowledgeable responses to my questions--no shady hidden fees or upselling. They happened to have the machine I wanted in stock, and delivered the same day. I recommend using this independent business for their expertise and service.
Update 11/24: The Speed Queen washing machine we chose has performed exceptionally well since the installation a little over a month ago. During this time we experienced a very heavy laundry load with guests in the house, and the new machine is a champ. The TC5 series is built with all the robust quality and performance of the Speed Queens of old. Using the heavy duty cycle, clothes come out completely rinsed of soap, clean, and spun thoroughly. Our dryer time has shortened 20 minutes because of the better spin action compared to our old machine.
