Whatever you do, DO NOT buy a phone from Verizon Cellular sales in Woodstock, especially from Ali!!!!! I recently switched over from AT&T after being a customer for 12 years due to the promotions that seemed enticing. I would like to add in the 12 years I was with AT&T I never had ONE problem with them. About 2 weeks after switching to Verizon I have had nothing but issues. At first Ali promised me a $160 phone bill and the first bill I received was $400. After being told that it was only for the first bill, it was still going to be roughly $200/month until I called Corporate, and they added an additional promotional discount at $20/month for being misled by my sales associate. Ali advised me there was a $35 set up fee for each device from the store and he waived one fee and told me I could call Corporate to waive the other three. He failed to mention Corporate would also be charging ANOTHER $35 per device for activation and to waive store set up fees are not on the corporate side, and they couldn’t do anything about it. This led to me paying roughly $250 dollars that Ali did not make me aware that I was going to have to pay. Ali also told me I had 14 days to turn my phone in and set up auto-pay, but on my first bill it was not accounted for since it wasn’t done at the time of the sale. Another $40 I had to pay that was he was not up-front about; I would have done it in the store if knew it was going to cost me more money. He sold me 2 screen covers each costing me $50 and promised me the convenience of being able to come to the store for a year to replace it for free and thereafter a lifetime warranty through the screen cover’s company’s website. After 3 months I came to the store to replace the covers and now I’m being told the policy has changed and I can no longer use that convenience by changing at the store and I could only rely on the website with shipping to replace the covers. A policy change should not affect something that was purchased before the policy change date, nonetheless, I was told if I changed it at the store this time I would lose the lifetime warranty. Another $100 gone to waste when I could have bought a similar kind online for less than $12. I would also like to mention as soon as Ali finished the sale portion, he didn’t even stay with me to close out everything and put the covers on my phone, he gave me another sales rep so he can go help other people in the room which is poor business. The other sales rep you can tell was new and was even frightful to put on my screen cover without messing it up. When I returned to the store a few times already due to complaints, Ali remains calm and speaks to me in a way where nothing is at fault of his own and even told me that he mentioned all these things to me which HE DID NOT! I have a fantastic memory, and I wouldn’t forget it. He lies to your face and is quite deceitful. I’ve been in sales, and he is a disgrace to such a position. They are only looking for commission and couldn’t care less how it affects your pockets. I IMMENSLY regret ever leaving AT&T and trusting this company. Not to mention, the service is not anywhere close to the service AT&T can give you. My phone lags constantly and drops connection all the time (never had that issue with AT&T). Save your money and your frustration and stay FAR AWAY from this place. Give it a second thought and look at other options cause this will be a decision you...

This store almost screwed me out of a HUGE promotion. I wanted to take advantage of the FREE Xbox Series S PLUS a Free $200 amazon gift card and I made it very clear that the primary reason I was sighing up for this service was to take advantage of this offer. They happily signed me up for service and told me that the Free Xbox would not be able to be redeemed until I had been a customer for 60-90 days. THIS WAS NOT TRUE. The promotion could be taken advantage of immediately however in order to do so you needed to sign up online and not in store. This was never told to me and I was in-fact told the opposite. I'm assuming this was done so I didn't just walk right out and instead would be forced into providing them a commission and forfeiting the promotional offers. Which is nearly what happened if I would have rated the 60-90 days they told me to. So since I singed up through this store I was basically disqualified from taking advantage of that promotion which I had signed up to take advantage of tin the first place. Plus I had to jump through dozens of rings including going without service for 4 days, speeding over 6hrs total time on the phone, and having to pay for a full month of service 12 days into having it. I am extremely unhappy with this store for allowing this to happen and will never be using there services again. Although I am still a Verizon customer. Also Thank you to the many people I talked to at the corporate office for getting this straightened out for me. If it were not for them I would not have received my Xbox or $200 Amazon gift card. What a mess. I went in to this store at the end of February to purchase a screen protector. While there I noticed the sales reps LG phone with dual screen and inquired about how much it would be. If I were to purchase it, with their current promotion of a $650 credit, trade in credit (which they provided) and adding a third line, my bill would go down. I even asked her to confirm the numbers with a co-worker since I found it hard to believe. Several days later I watched my bill skyrocket and went back and was told by the rep that it takes time for the promotions to hit and to be patient. Three weeks later I went back when my bill continued to be high and was told there was a mix up with the swapping of sim cards and that was why my promotion hadn't hit and another hour wasted waiting for it to be fixed. Several days later I didn't see any change to my bill and called Verizon directly, another almost 2 hours wasted on the phone as they tried to attach another promotion to it, which I would see if it hit 7-10 days after our call. It's now been 6 weeks total and I went in to the store to return the phone and undo this. I told the rep who greeted me I needed to talk to a manger, he said they're all kind of managers??? really??? and asked me to tell him what was going on, big shocker when more time was wasted for him to tell me that I did in fact need to talk to the manager who wasn't going to be in until tomorrow. Guess I'll be wasting more time going in again....
