I cannot believe how I was just treated at the pharmacy department today on West Boylston Street 10/31. I came in to get my medicine and to ask a couple questions. One of the questions I asked was why if my doctor is writing 30-day prescriptions ,why does the pharmacist fill the prescriptions in 90 days when the doctor writes 30 days? Once I asked this question the lady behind the counter who was not wearing a uniform immediately responding rudely and hostile. When the pharmacist came over and I explained to her how I was just treated by her staff the pharmacist started laughing in my face. The pharmacist thinks my concern is funny and she does not have to answer. When I look down at the medicine that I was just about to pick up, it was wrong again, it was the incorrect quantities again! Filling up incorrect quantities messes up insurance and makes it a nightmare to refill! I have every right to ask why I'm not receiving the proper quantities that the doctor is prescribing. The core issue is here is how I was treated and the incorrect quantities. I've never been treated rudely and yelled at for asking a simple question. The staff today was so mean I can no longer go back to that pharmacy. I'm moving all my auto ships to another pharmacy. If you're looking for a caring pharmacy this is not the one! They will treat you with so much disrespect and they have the mindset that you take what I give you and you can't ask questions. I've been a loyal Walgreens pharmacy customers for years with numerous Auto ships. Today is my last day with Walgreens as I have asked the pharmacist to cancel all my orders. Read moreI'm so disappointed with the service l received today at this store. The way l was treated was atrocious and it isn't the first time. I actually moved from another Walgreens with the hopes that l'd have a better experience but instead, it was even worse. I had a prescription due today which they refused to fill, stating that it was picked up on 6/4 so it was still too early. I politely asked her to make sure she was looking at the correct dosage as l take 20 and 30mg tabs. I also know for certain that I picked up my prescription on 5/27 because l had called the previous day 5/26 to request an early fill, as l was leaving for vacation in the AM with my wife and kiids in NH and l wouldn't return until 6/2. I picked up my prescription for Adderall 20mg. just before we left that day, 5/27 slightly before noon. Therefore my next script was due 4 weeks later which is today's date. However, the employee insisted that it wasn't filled then...that it was just filled on 6/4. I clarified that l had the bottle in front of me which is dated 5/26. I recognized that it was easy to mix the two up due to different dosages(20mg, 30mg). However, she was snide and dismissive, maintaining that she was unable to do anything. That she couldn't fill prior to some random date the following week. She was the second consecutive employee to be rude and disrespectful throughout our call. So now l don't even feel comfortable going back there and l have to go without my medication until (and IF) this gets sorted out.
