Bushel ‘n Peck Summit — Restaurant in Worcester

Always use to like getting Italian grinders from this place. They have fell off majorly. The Italian grinder i got today was by far the worst i have ever had from here. Bushel n Peck need to train their employees how to properly prepare an Italian grinder. The girl who made my sandwich totally left off the pepperoni. Like if your completely out of it. Let the customer know. So they can change their order. Instead you make it with ham cheese and salami minus the pepperoni. Thats a major flavor of the Italian. Also the Italian bread comes completely cored out. No option for the customer to say hey i dont like my bread ripped out. So your left with a super chewy outer shell of a loaf. Just awful and not a good experience. From 1 to 10 this experience was a hard 2. I will never be back. Complete waste of money. Not worth it. Employees dont even know how to make an Italian sub correctly. Like for real no pepperoni smh. It wasn't even busy the girl made my sandwich so fast it was almost questionable. I knew i should have checked my sandwich before i left. Complete experience ruined by lack of experience and focus of an employee. I knew it was gonna be bad when she said all the Italian bread comes cored and ripped out like that. To have the bread be like then you complete epic fail on the attempt to put the sandwich together. Great food. Overall very nice and respectful staff. I try to go here every other Saturday for lunch as I work in the area biweekly. I only have a 30 minute lunch so I always need to call my order in and go get it as fast as I can so I can enjoy my sandwich during my break.

It has become increasingly frequent that every time I try to make a call to place my order I never get an answer. I’ve spoken to staff about this and get no solid reasoning. I’ve come in after getting my calls ignored to see no line or anything that validates the missed calls. It’s saddening for someone like me who enjoys their food so much to get this type of service consistently. I’m not writing this review to Bash buschel and peck, I love their food!! I usually LOVE this place, the staff is usually really friendly and the food is always good, but after this last visit i was highly surprised! I ordered 2 B.P. Italians with pickles and hots which is the usual, but this time the sandwiches tasted left out or refrigerated and they were REALLY soggy. They were so soggy we had to take everything off the bread and toast it. My theory is that they had a pre-made sandwich that had been made for a while and threw some pickles and hots on it. This has happened a few times as i went closer towards closing time.

I didn't want to complain, but i love this place and if other people start getting sandwiches like this they would lose business. I'm hoping the owners look at these reviews and make sure the quality control of the staff is up to par, because unfortunately those sandwiches...
