Growing up as a soccer player, there were very few stores that were soccer specific. For the past couple of years, this has been my go to soccer store. The staff is great and most importantly, go through lengths to ensure a great overall experience. I purchased my first pair of cleats from there in 2014. The clear I wanted was not in stock, but that didn’t stop the staff from bringing out the same cleat, in a different, more attractive color, to see if I would like those instead. I ended up purchasing it on the spot.
Fast forward 3 years, it was time for new cleats. I love the Nike Tiempos Legend. Those were the cleats I purchased in 2014. I often run into the same problem where my cleat size is very common and therefore, availability is limited. I contacted WeGot Soccer and spoke with Brandon B. to see if my size was available. He stated there wasn’t. I was then directed to Ruben who notified me when more should be arriving. He also notified me that Nike may be coming out with more styles for the Tiempo. Ruben continuously checked in with me, notifying me when the Tiempos came in, and he even put 2 different sizes of the new releases of each color aside for me, to ensure that I would get the cleat and the size I wanted. All I had to do was then drop by the store and notified Ruben and I was fitted and had a multitude of options to choose from. This is by far the best customer experience I have had when at a retail store. The staff there truly make it a one of a kind experience. I will continue to shop through them for all my soccer needs due to the teamwork and initiative taken by Ruben to ensure me a positive experience. I will continuously recommend this store to all my...
Read moreWith two kids in club and town travel soccer for years, we’ve ordered a lot of kits from We Got Soccer. Every year I wince as we are forced to buy at least one—usually two or three—new kits at a cost of $350-$400 each. I would accept the exorbitant cost if all of the uniform pieces actually fit. My son, in particular, is tall and thin. The largest size of the $70 Nike soccer pants in the kit does not even fit his leg length. They are also extra large and far too big in the waist. We bought them, though, because WGS forced them on us. So, that’s a $70 donated pair of pants to Salvation Army right away. The Nike socks in the largest size are too tight and never fit. That’s three pairs of $20 socks donated immediately. The Nike shorts are on the cheap side and far too short in the largest size. Another donation….We are forced to buy all of these extra pieces that do not fit just so that we can get the numbered jerseys and shorts. I explained this to customer service to see if they could sub out some of the components so that we weren’t being forced to spend money on clothes that are useless to us, and they were not helpful. They offered us nothing other than an assurance that “they understood our frustration.” But do they really understand? I have to believe that they would be outraged if a vendor forced them to spend more than $100 on kit components that don’t even fit their child. What a huge waste of money.
I also question why all the clubs use this one vendor. Are they the only game in town? They have a stranglehold on the local club soccer market, which apparently excuses them from providing responsive and empowered customer service that can actually respond to...
Read moreThe WORST experience I have had with ordering online and in general with dealing with customer service. I ordered a player’s jersey that arrived to my house BLANK and was told to send pictures as proof in order to send it back to get printed. It took over a week after sending the pictures to receive a shipping label, and that was only after I e-mailed and called numerous times. Following that, i received no updates on my order and so I had to keep calling and e-mailing. Through this whole process I never received a call back from the multiple voicemails I left. I was able to finally get in contact with someone over the phone, which was probably once out of every 5 times I called (I also sat on hold for 20 minutes almost everytime before being directed to voicemail) I was always told a random date that they think it may be sent out on. This lasted another month. I finally told them to cancel my order and to not ship the jersey and asked for a refund. I was told three different times that they would message their repair team to cancel the order and once that was done they would refund me. OF COURSE they decided to print and ship the jersey a week after I told them NOT to send it to me. They have zero communication between departments and have no motivation or drive in supporting the client; they are only focused on profit. Now they are refusing to take the jersey back and and refuse to give me a refund. This jersey was over a month late and the whole experience working with them was full of deception, evasiveness, and unprofessional behavior. STAY AWAY from...
