SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR WHEELS AND TIRES!

I won’t be representing or recommending Custom offsets nor their house brands to anyone anymore .

I’ve purchased several sets through them including a couple sets of arkons but this set ruined all business with them

Back story

I purchased a set of Arkon ceasers and atturo trail blade bosses from them a few years ago , not only was the chrome plating subpar but it took 6 months for me to even receive them. ( I was told the wheels were on back order and may be a few weeks which was fine). But 6 month later is ridiculous as The wheels showed up right before winter so great timing! Needless to say had to wait even longer to run them

That’s not even the best part , I ran the wheels and tires for maybe 8k miles and 2 of the tires now have broken belts. I contacted them describing my issue with the tires. Their answer was.

“Over time the price has increased on the TBBO-J5SLDAFA LT375/40R24 Atturo Trail Blade Boss. The new cost per tire comes out to $537.29 per tire. Please see the breakdown $1074.58 new tires - $383.46 credit = $691.12 “

Mind you I paid $1232 for all 4 new

So they want me to pay them $691.22 for 2 replacements bassed off their retail price ( lord knows they make a killing of there high pricing ) and that’s “with my credit “… take time out of my day to take them to the only tire shop that can do this size wheel 30 mins away (1 way) along with paying again for mounting and balancing as if I don’t already have enough time and money invested in them now I need to dump damn near 1000$ more into them

My guess is All because of manufacturing defects probably from cheap A$$ material during covid

Moral of the story don’t do business with companies who sell products they don’t back 100% ….for 2 tires to have broken Belts with minimal tread wear and them to pull the FU pay me more card is the last straw

❗️UPDATE TO THIS REVIEW❗️

( I deleted a year ago ) , they said they would warranty in full the 2 tires with broken belts if I basically removed my negative review . Fast forward a year later after I deleted the review currently still waiting on replacements their amswere ( waiting on manufacturer) and seems to me The manufacture has basically discontinued the tires so now I have 2 broken belt tires , all 4 that are weather checked so basically a full worthless set of wheels and tires in whole cause not only are all 4 of the tires junk I now have some very poor looking chrome arkon ceasers 1 that the center cap “K” literally fell out of… I probably couldn’t even give away all from just sitting out waiting for them to make it right and send me my 2 replacements the 2 tires I expected 9-10 month ago. you’re better off just tossing $100 bill into a fire then thinking they’ll make things right if you ever have a problem with one of the products they sell.

After having these wheels for less than a month, the plastic hubcaps started peeling and looked terrible. I sent these pictures to custom offsets, and they told me they would replace the caps. That was in April.

I waited until July until I contacted the business and asked where my caps were. They told me that the hubcaps were on back order indefinitely, and essentially they would not return my wheels.

They offered me an alternative to purchase metal hubcaps from the same company, American Force, which they assured me would fit my wheels. They cost me $240.

I received the hubcaps a couple weeks later, and not only did they not fit, they were very poor quality, plastic covers that were not nearly as nice as the peeling caps that were on the wheels in the first place. And they cost $240.

I contacted customer service again, and told them that they sent me wrong caps, and they were plastic, not metal. They insisted I take photographs of the Chrome color plastic caps to prove they weren't metal. So I don't know if they think I can't tell the difference between metal or plastic, or how they would be able to determine via picture that they were indeed the wrong caps. This was also within the 14 day return policy that they allegedly have.

I told them that the caps were plastic, not metal like I ordered, and that I shouldn't need to send pictures of the caps to return them. I was unhappy with their product, and I wanted a return. They refused to take my return and instead argued with me about taking the photographs and sending them in before they would ever honor their return policy. So they ripped me off, sent me plastic caps instead of metal, that didn't fit my truck, and they wanted me to explain and send photographs in order to get my money back. That doesn't sound much of a 14-day return policy to me.

Long story short, I spend $8,000 on wheels and tires from custom offsets ( 22-in American Force Wheels, and 38 in Nitto Ridge Grapplers), that had defective hubcaps, which they refused to replace. I had to purchase new ones, telling me they would be an upgrade, they sent me the wrong ones and then questioned whether I knew the difference between metal and plastic. Don't waste your money here.

I will never do business with this company again. Their customer service is horrible, and for spending $8,000 on products through their company, they certainly don't give a hoot about their customers.

I will also be sending letters to American Force Wheels, and to Nitto tires, to let them know what horrible representatives of their products custom...

I’ve been browsing through custom offsets items and news for a while now, I’ve saved and have made my dream come true with the truck and setup that I’ve wanted. Everything looks fantastic, everything went super well and easy from order start to finish. I ordered my tires and wheels at the same time, they came mounted and balance, perfect condition, nothing wrong with them and the process from order to receiving them I wanna say was about a week and a half- 2 weeks, coming from across the country. Was absolutely stunned how fast they got here. Then I ordered my lift, initial 4.5 inch, but then decided to do the 6” lift so custom offsets put up with my indecisiveness with a nice and fast manner and within a week maybe a little less from order I received my lift. I installed my lift and wheels and it’s a dream come true, exactly what I wanted. All thanks to custom offsets it finally happened! So thank you to all of the custom offsets team for making this happen with ease and urgency, especially since ya truck lovers can’t handle the suspense of waiting 👍👍 the only problem I had with anything, was that the rough country lift kit instructions got a little unclear as I went through from start to finish, the reason of that is because I don’t know if the bags the hardware came in are mislabeled or not but either instructions where not clear or I was missing a couple bags, so always make sure to go through the inspection list like I did. I still managed to somehow have everything and some little extras for some reason, I followed instructions very thoroughly and with common sense as well. Also the break line brackets did not work for some reason, nothing would align or be too extremely tight, so I did not use the 2 front break line upper brackets. Other than that and the million sailor words coming out of my mouth during my whole weekend of installation, this whole process was fun, exciting and very enjoyable, thanks again to custom offsets and rough country for super fast delivery and great customer service. Will definitely be coming here for my other...
