Rosauers — Local services in Yakima

We have been shopping at Rosaurs in Yakima, WA, for many years. They have fresh produce from the USA. which we really enjoy. Their meat is always fresh and high quality. You can buy wrapped meat, a good variety of luncheon meats, hot dogs, hams and other processed meats. They also have a fresh meat counter where you can choose from a variety of meat, poultry and fish. Their in-store deli offers lots of good food ready to eat...from chicken to cheeses to salads, and other things. Their in-store bakery offers cakes, cookies, breads, rolls, donuts...and so much more. They have an awesome frozen foods section, and milk, juice, cheeses, eggs, snack foods and so much more. They have a great health foods section. (Huckleberries) There you can purchase from a good selection of health foods - frozen organic foods, many vegetarian items, and other items. They also have a variety of non-grocery items such as hardware, magazines, health care, and a full service pharmacy. I am sure I missed some items and departments. Their prices are competitive and the best thing about Rosaurs is that their employees are customer service oriented and friendly and we enjoy...

I used to like this store but the last two times I was in, they treated me like I was suspicious, I was minding my own business and not acting sketchy in any way so this was completely unacceptable treatment. A female attendant stood right next and watched me which made me feel more nervous and violated my privacy. Also we’re in a pandemic, having personal space is my human right. I wanted privacy and wanted to be in and out quick, I didn’t want a bunch of people crowding me I just want to get my thing and go. Then the other attendant rudely told me I had to go to another counter for the Coinstar, I pointed out to her that I didn’t go there because no one was there when they should have been. Then when I got there the woman at the counter was not friendly did not make eye contact and was very rude again. Honestly it’s NOT okay to treat loyal customers who have come there for years with suspicion like they are a criminal for literally no reason at all. The business model is supposed to be friendly and treat people with respect. It’s not alright to treat a customer like they are guilty and make them feel bad for no reason at all when they’ve done...

Rosauers has been my main store of groceries for almost a year now. I have been pregnant for half the time I have been shopping there, and the people that work there have been so thoughtful to me. Insisting I get help out to my car, and just positive attitudes all around.

Today they made me tear up with their thoughtfulness and customer service. I shopped there for food items with the intention to have a class party at the high school I work at. I could not afford all the items on the list, so i took off a few things. I apologized for the inconvenience as it was a lot of work for them to ring everything up and then take items off. They were so patient with me. Then they gave me one of the most kind gestures I have ever received. One of the workers came out as I was walking to my car and put all the items I could not afford on my cart. He said tell your kids 'happy birthday' as it was going to be a birthday themed party. He gave me a big hug as I said thank you so much in complete shock at this gesture. I am still in shock of such a kind gesture.
