I’ve been a loyal customer here for nearly my entire adult life, but after my recent experience I won’t be coming back.
I purchased a 6-pack of beer, and immediately after getting home and taking it out of the bag, the bottom collapsed and beer spilled all over my garage. I went back to the store within 10 minutes, showed the employee the defective packaging and photos of the mess, but instead of speaking to me directly, the manager hid in her office and made her employee go back and forth. She then falsely claimed that “per Washington state law” they couldn’t do anything since the alcohol left the store. That is absolutely untrue.
When I later called the store manager, Steph, she was dismissive and rude, saying she couldn’t do anything but would “pass a note” to the owner. It’s now been two weeks and I’ve heard nothing.
Not only are the prices here higher than other stores, but the customer service is dishonest and unprofessional. Lying to a loyal customer to save a few bucks is the perfect example of stepping over a dollar to pick up a penny. They’ve lost a longtime customer over something that could have been...
Read moreVery Rude AND NOT HELPFUL IF YOU HAVE ANY DISIBILITY OR NEED help LIFTING. OR IF U NEED TO HOLD ANY ITEMS BEFORE YOU GO THERE. WRAYS OWNER HAS NO SYMPATHY FOR YOU IF YOU NEED HELP. Sad but true. I had a bad accident which makes it hard to walk far or lift. and he basically told all his staff to NOT HOLD any items for me at all, and to make me walk or take a cart even though my knees hurt very bad from recent accident. He is mean and I do not recommend this store. May as well go to Safeway or Walmart. I have never encountered such a rude grocery staff in my life. Beware. They act as if they are doing you a big favor in taking your money. I highly recommend choosing a different grocery store. Sincerely.... Also, most food items I have gotten there have been expired or not fresh. Wish it was not the case, but that has been my experience recently. If you want good help or fresh items, This is not the store I...
Read moreIf I could give this store a -100 I would. The person I spoke with when my granddaughter and I went into the store was VERY RUDE AND NASTY. My 5 year old granddaughter needed to use the restroom and we had intending to buy something because my feeling is you don't just use the bathroom and leave. My granddaughther was crying, she needed to go really bad so I asked the person up front if she could use a bathroom, he told me No, she might have covid 19. Please a 5 year old doen't really under this and it is just fun for them to wear a mask. We left and she was really crying and didn't understand she couldn't go to the bathroom. All I can say is thank you Fred Myers for understanding a 5 year old needing to use...
