I have been a delivery driver for Flex since June 2023. Most of the reviews I just read was complaints about the drivers. We do not get paid that much, we use our on vehicle, rough roads, drive for hours and for myself around 85-100 miles a day. I absolutely love working for them! Now people need to understand that we have a location circle on the app and we have to be in that circle in order to leave the package. We have to take a picture of the delivered package. If your dog acts aggressive we will NOT leave the package. Or you can also put your dog inside if you know we are coming. There is absolutely no reason a driver should leave your package where ever they want. That’s lazy. Now a year later the warehouse in Yellville Ar made a mistake and I loaded a route that was the wrong one. I caught it, went inside and explained it to 2 Different distribution employees. They “fixed” it and I proceeded to unload my my car and reload and scan the correct route. I delivered 38 packages. A few days later I notice my standings went from fantastic to at risk. WTH! I called and called Amazon Flex Driver Support and explained this was not my fault at all. After 3 weeks I gave up. They would NOT fix my standings because since I had scanned and loaded a route that I did not know realize was wrong, it showed I did not deliver the original route of 42 packages. It was the wrong route and the distribution employees never told me that if I took a different route that it would go against my standings, which I worked by butt off to achieve! I lost all respect for Amazon Flex and I was crushed! I loved that job and was dedicated. Rain, cold, snow, heat it did not matter. I still delivered every day. So ultimately they punished me by only offering me a route every week or 2! I use to work 5-7 a week. Never late and finished my routes between 1-2 hours early. No employee...
Read moreFind drivers who will deliver packages. People expect to get the items they order. Some items are only available from Amazon. If other people have the same issues I have, there are going to be some extremely angry people and sad kids this holiday season. My package wasn't delivered, and I was told that the carrier couldn't access my home, but that is simply not true! I get packages ALL OF THE TIME! I've never had issues before. I contacted Amazon to resolve the issue, then was told that there were no updates from the carrier, so I canceled my order so I can at least get a refund, and now it says that I refused delivery, and the order was previously canceled, which is simply not true! It was a Christmas item. Why the hell would I cancel it?? Yes, I can get a refund, but that's not the point. This isn't a victimless crime like people think it is. If items aren't being delivered, then they are being stolen. Either by the driver or an employee. These people need to be investigated for theft!! Also, for what it's worth, if you do return it to the seller, you could just take it to the post office, and send it to my house, but that would be too much...
Read moreEvery now and again we get a good delivery driver from this facility. Since I live on a dirt road and there is a shallow creek to cross, I have even given instructions to leave packages at a neighbor's house or to call and I could meet them, etc. More often than not, I get delayed deliveries... tracking shows it left the facility and is on its way... then it is returned to the facility instead.
Quite often it says delivered in my hands only to have to go on a hunt to find out where it was delivered because I wasn't home. Today, it says driver attempted delivery today at 2:30, but couldn't make it to the front door so will try again tomorrow... um.... ???? Currently, I have been waiting for two items. The first has apparently been out for delivery and returned to facility every day since Friday (it is now Tuesday) with the last update saying it is delayed. It says I need to contact the facility, but there is no instructions on how to do that.
The second package was out for delivery for the first time on Monday, and low and behold, it was found on my porch because I wasn't...
