I am giving one star NOT for the Vendors because they are amazing. I have shopped at this mall since it opened and have told many about this little gem in York, SC.
On January 19th, 2025 I went to return something I had purchased as a Christmas gift on the 21st of December. The mall has a 30 day return policy, I mean who doesnāt. I had the merchandise and my receipt that was still in the return window. The receipt could not be pulled up in the cash register system with the barcode or my credit card. Both the young ladies looked puzzled until it hit them that the Mall had been sold and the new owner apparently wiped the system. They then informed me that they could give me a gift card. I informed them I didnāt want a gift card that I wanted a credit on my card or they could give me cash. Oh heck no they donāt give back cash. I asked how is that my problem. I have returned the merchandise in the 30 day window with a receipt and you want to give me a gift card. Finally after dealing with this nonsense and not wanting to walk out with a gift card, that I may never use or lose, I grabbed one of the new vendorās baskets to get it over with. Apparently the young ladies had someone of authority on the phone but I donāt think they were going to give me my money back either. I consider that stealing. I followed your rules and you change them and I get screwed.
Is business really that good that you run off loyal customers? This is how I see it. You took money from the Vendor I purchased from who I have purchased from many times before and put my money in the āMallsā pocket to be used maybe or like so many āGIFT CARDSā to be forgotten or lost. Good business model. Good Luck with that.
If I can buy from my favorite vendors without going though the Yorkville Marketplace I will certainly support these...

She asked to try on a necklace and the lady said no and my girlfriend asked why and she started to get very rude. Asking if my girlfriend can āaffordedā it. As of course she can she said yes and the lady responded with ā no you canāt I donāt believe youā! Saying she canāt afford her jewelry! Like what kind of customer service is that! Then I tell her thatās rude of her to say that she starts getting hostile with me arguing with me and raising her voice telling me to leave āherā store. This lady obviously doesnāt have very good customer service and was very rude and hostile toward me and my girlfriend. I advise no one shop from her unless you want to be profiled and called broke by her for simply wanting to look at jewelry. Take your business else...
