Our family traveled for over one hour specifically to get there. We arrived at 3pm and the security guard said we could look around, but that the vendors normally ALWAYS pack up at 1:30 or 2pm. So basically, the building is open until 4pm, but no vendors were there past 2pm and so our family looked around at COVERED MERCHANDISE that was hidden under tarps and clips with NO VENDORS in sight to actually sell you things. It was a ghost town. Just unfair business practice. Is this how the market is getting away with this FALSE advertising? This was ridiculous. If business hours STATE 8-4 in their advertising materials to the PUBLIC, then the business should actually reflect what it says! The security guard said management has no control over when the vendors pack up. I said that the management DOES have the ability to either 1. enforce the vendors to stay until 4pm, since that is what is advertised to the public, or 1. change the operating hours to 8am-2pm - since that is what is ACTUALLY happening, or 3. keep the hours 8am-4pm BUT state 'Dear Customer, our vendors can pack up early and normally always do from 1:30-2pm. So if you are planning on visiting here after 1:30pm, call us first to see if is worth your while. If you just want to walk around and look at covered merchandise that is hidden under tarps with clips with no one to sell you anything, where you cannot see the merchandise anyway, then come after 2pm. But that is your choice." The security guard was also extremely rude and when I asked him to leave a message to the management with my phone number on it, he refused. I told him I would be writing to the FTC and he could have cared less. Outrageous! We made a formal complaint to the FTC so they should be...
Read moreSo Four Seasons is your typical outdoor flea and farm market with a decent selection of public selling their stuff, there is food onsite and a nice farmers market where one can score fresh, farm produce and other edible goodies. The entrance / exit can be troubling if you're travelling East (turning left out of the main parking) as oncoming traffic is heavy in both directions. I sat for about 8 mins and when I did have a chance to pull out another person pulled out to my right and almost side-swiped me. But that's a story for another blog. Make sure to bring or apply sunscreen as the sun can bake you on the asphalt and a wagon or rolling cart to carry your new treasures. A good selection of food trucks are typically on site ready to feed the masses and an indoor vending area...
Read moreBuyer Beware! Been coming to four seasons every weekend for the last year. Always a pleasure. Unfortunately this newer vendor does not practice good business. His son gave us the price of $25 for legos. I agreed and asked if we could grab them after we ate at the cafe. While eating his father came over very aggressively and said he’s not selling them to me for $25 and stated I was trying to rip off a 14 year old. He said he wanted at least $40. He continued to be aggressive.
I’m sorry but once I paid for them they where my property and he should have used as a teaching moment for his son. Had he of come to me in a positive manor and said hey my kid made a mistake I really need to get at least $10 more I honestly...
