my family of 4 (husband. 3 yr old, 1 yr old) had our first-ever professional photo session with jennifer and we are ecstatic with the results. first, jennifer was able to book us a premier venue in wake forest where we had a variety of both indoor and outdoor settings. second, jennifer was superb in giving us feedback and tips for our posing (ex. chin down, hands folded, legs crossed like this, etc) and was also detail-oriented with making sure my kids’ clothing wasn’t bunched up awkwardly (like the baby’s shirt rising to show his tummy unintentionally, stuff like that). she was also exceptionally engaging and patient with our kids, who had varying degrees of mild meltdowns lol.

we are THRILLED with the photos, specifically: the lighting and quality of the coloring and contrast is phenomenal and wonderfully captures all of our different shades of brown (from fair to dark) as well as the mix of posed and candids. we will 100% use jennifer again in the future. we had a really fun time and a great experience....

Recently, the owner/operator of Purdy Portraits has taken beautiful photos and I couldn’t be more happy with how they turned out. The process of booking a session, submitting payment, downloading your images, ordering prints, canvases, etc. was all handled online and very easy and stress free.
