This was my first visit since it’s new opening (instead of the old Village Candy Kitchen). I liked the look inside and it had a lot more space to move around than VCK did. The quality of the candy made in the shop was not as good as it was under the old ownership. I got milk chocolate honeycomb and the chocolate was a little artificial tasting and the honeycomb inside was mostly rock hard with just a few crunchy spots. My kids got caramel apples but again the caramel was really hard on the outside and they had to chew for a long time to really make it so they wouldn’t choke on the caramel. I would have given 5 stars but the ice cream is Thrifty, which is decent ice cream, but at the prices they are charging I expected something a little better.
