I generally love ALDI, as someone who grew up in Europe and lived in many countries in that region, Aldi is your go to store. Up until yesterday ALDI was one my fav store here in the US. Up until yesterday. So I found a pizza discounted by 50 percent, the cashier missed to apply the discount. He had to call the general manager/store manager. The pizza was $6.99, so the discounted price should have been $3.49 right? After a long discussion, and other people waiting for this issue to be solved, they asked me to pay $3.99 and I have been told that the full price will be sent back to my account, which is still not the right amount. My account was fully charged twice, so instead of buy-in a pizza for $3.49, I had to pay $3.99+$6.99=$10.98. I have messaged ALDI directly, via email, and two of their biggest social media platforms. I have also attached pictures I have taken as proof of what happened. They asked me to call a number ... and that is just unacceptable. Why should I call a number? How can I send everything over phone? Why they just cannot have a look at it and send a digital coupon of $7.49 - what they owe me? Also, How is it possible that both the cashier and the store manager doesn't know basic math? Be careful, when you buy anything discounted in this store. Also dealing with ALDI's customer support is...
Read moreLiterally the worse store ever.. extremely dirty, also 25cents is not a savings, and random generic food brands that you can clearly tell that are total sham and probably worse than any dollar store food... they Literally have but 2 employees working..
If anything go else trust me.. you'll have the same prices and beyond better quality food... if you wanna be scammed to thinking your getting any kind of deal with your vegan or organic food.. trust you'll be disappointed here, just due your self better paying the high price or eat this weak portion food at a cheap that matches what would be a normal price anywhere else..
There a small and new store but for being open for a year and being my first time in there.. it felt like walking thru dollar tree and grocery outlet.. very disturbing, disappointing, and disgusting..
But you can get cheap chips and candy.. 😆 lol 😆
If Aldi would like.. You could have me as a employee, but you'll have to clone me because I'm one person and couldnt be at all your locations.. but I'd make the greatest turn around for your store.. I'm just amazed how your in business at all, and the way it looks I'm sure you won't be around long at all.. but Goodluck to your little start...
Read moreJust like when I was a child growing up in Germany all the good chocolates, treats and snacks for a killer deal. I love this store. Staff is friendly and responsive, helpful and prices are insanely low. Best place to shop in town.
Look at the pictures. A little secret here. Catch this store when they have german week. All the frozen treats like apple strudel, peanut puffs, deserts and so much more.
Now don't get me wrong my kids are not the biggest fans of fish products out of the can but when they have German week in Spring and fall they sell these herrings in different sauces like tomato, mango curry and so on they don't have a lot of them but they are soooo good. look at the pictures good quality German food like their Cakes, strudels and all that. All you have to do is thaw rhem out and boom one hell of a treat.
Once again staff is absolutely phenomenal always smiling and when you need something they even get it for you.
Lines at the register get a little bit belong at times because people just like that stuff in this store. Aldi has been around for over 50 years at least that I know off and it shows.
Unlike corporate greed which is so common in the United States this store sells everything...
