Iām really unhappy with my fill-in I got done at this nail salon yesterday. It is honestly one of the worst fill-ins Iāve had in my life. The technician got nail polish on my fingers, which he didnāt remove. And he overall did a messy, incomplete job. The back of your nails should be cleaned and filed down when you get a fill-in so your hair and other things donāt get stuck. He didnāt do that. He also left the back of my nails filthy. And he was extremely rude, telling me to hurry up in deciding what I want because he doesnāt have the time. I did not feel welcome. On what planet is it ok to treat a customer like this? If you donāt have time, tell me to come back. He also didnāt say thank you or anything like that. It would be preferable to you skipping steps to do my fill-in, which Iām now going to need to get redone by someone else because I canāt even brush my hair without my hair getting stuck between my nails. This was supposed to be taken care of. I felt like I was on an assembly line where he did the job quickly but NOT efficiently just so he could move on to the next customer. And he kept answering the phone while doing my nails. No wonder they look horrible, are uneven, not complete, are still dirty in the back (which he also said he had no time to clean even though thatās a part of the service Iām paying for) and are peeling off from the bottom on my first day of having them. Refer to the pictures.
I tipped him but he honestly deserved no tips. Tips are supposed to be reserved for great service. He was rude, unprofessional and does not know how to do nails. I canāt speak to the other technicians, because my pedicure was pretty good. But he - I think his name is Tony - the reason this place gets 1 star. If heās about to do your nails, I recommend waiting till another technician...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAs a long time customer I was highly disappointed with my most recent encounters. I got my nails done on Saturday in preparation for my birthday on Tuesday. I was also going to a small get together that night and was going for a nice treat. I go and get yellow matte acrylics. I am at the get together and notice that my matte nails have begun to look like a murkey brown and have been seemingly splitting between layers. I say oh well I'll go back Monday since they're closed on Sundays. I go back this morning and they're blaming me, saying that my purple hair is what turned my nails brown and saying I dyed it between my visits. Another customer who didn't have color treated hair had to speak up and say that had happened to them as well before they would listen that I hadn't dyed my hair since Saturday. The first person then admitted that this browning thing happens with their matte top coat when on top of a lighter color. Then wait half an hour for the repair which is fine,. they were busy. Then the lady doing my nails also insisted that the murky brown nails were my fault and that I must have dyed my hair. She refused to listen and was purposely rough when fixing my nails because I was an inconvenience. The only reason this isn't a 1 star review is because I didn't have to pay for the repair. The customer service is horrible and they like to treat a customer who payed $43 for a basic color acrylic nail like they're the dumbest person. I will not be returning and will be advising all my friends against it as well.
Photos are before the repairs and after. Had to get a gloss top coat because of the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI would never recommend coming here. I tried many times to like it because so many people talk about queens. I have been here about 4 or 5 times and the last time was the worst. I came in with an appointment and had to wait for awhile which was fine because they were busy. I sit down towards the front and the lady asks me want I wanted. Basic gel. I already had gel on so I had to have it removed. It was soo painful! I tried to gentle ask her to be a little gentler and she started to smacking my hands. I should have just left and regret not doing so. I stayed and didn't say anything after that as she would continue to smack my hands ever so often. Then she started to add the gel which was messy and didn't look right. But I let her do her thing. The bill was 65 dollars which I thought was pretty steep without tip included. Then a few hours later I noticed that my nails were burning. I went to another salon, sassy nails and they had to fix my nails which were turning colors. She couldn't remove all of the gel because it was way to painful. Fast forward 6 months later and my nails are back to normal. I wasn't sure if I should put this down on the comments or not but wouldn't want anyone else to go through what I went through. After that day I found out the woman who did my nails at queens is the owners wife. I never recommend this place. I have been going to sassys ever since. There manicure is also only 45...
