Absolutely Terrible experience this morning at Compare Foods. I bought two packs of chicken Monday afternoon and I stored them in the fridge (chicken can sit in the fridge for about 2 days). Yesterday, I go to cook the chicken and it smells like eggs. By the time I noticed I didn’t have time to take it back yesterday so I called them and let them know the situation and id be in today. I have my receipt and everything. I get to the store and I. Polite and I ask to refund. This man calls me a liar straight to my face TWICE. Tried to tell me I left it sitting outside (I did not) and at first refused to give me a refund until I had to flat out call me a scene. All over a $8 pack of chicken. If you’re black they will overcharge you for items, I’ve been to this location 3 times and was overcharged every time! Cashier charged me 15$ for 1.49 worth of plantains! I Once bought a cucumber that was worth about 69cent and was charged almost 10$ for it! The store itself is nice but if you are black be very careful, because they will purposely overcharge you! And if you try to address it everyone in the store will pretend not to understand, this place is literally a discrimination lawsuit...

Very friendly people there and good customer service. Large store with large selection of Hispanic products however a bit over priced on some items. I was hoping to find more imported products but there’s mostly just the typical Goya and other brands you can find in Walmart. The produce looked old and the meat section has a strange smell. I like the variety of Hispanic junk food there and typical staple foods. Need more things from South...
