Food Lion — Local services in Zebulon

If I could rate this experience a 0 I would. 9/7 at at 6:35 I entered food lion and was hopeful going to customer service was going to be a good experience. But again that wasn’t the case. I waited fifteen minutes while the manager (Allison) was trying to cash a check for one of the employees. I was already standing there about five minutes before anyone walked over. Allison did not once acknowledge me standing there and was also going back and forth consulting with another manager. This store I try to personally stay out of. Shout out to the only grocery store in Zebulon. If you live out here you have no choice but to come here for groceries. This place is packed all day. And I swear this particular food Lion is bigger than most other food Lions. They carry every grocery item you can imagine. I want to give it four stars because some of the workers have been unprofessional or short with me in the past, but I'm not one to tear down a business so my conscience says five stars. No need to expand. Things are stressful these days and it's understandable. We are all just trying to feed our family's. Just updated, some employees are more helpful than others, make sure you check your pricing because sometimes the sale prices don’t reflect on your receipt, but that’s a system issue not a location issue. The manager is very nice, very understanding, and likes to know when their issues so he can correct them, the store is usually clean bathrooms usually clean the guy and the meat department is very knowledgeable and helpful. I just wish Food Lion had a meat counter like Harris Teeter and Lowes foods and the quality meat that they have at Harris Teeter and Lowes foods prices are increasing, but that’s because...
