Subway — Restaurant in Zebulon

Do not go to this Subway if you live in Zebulon. I ordered a BLT and Ham sandwiches, and just before I got to putting vegetables on them, I noticed the some of the tomatoes were rotten. Granted, I made the mistake of having the tomatoes on my BLT anyway as I really wanted them, but one of the tomatoes when the sandwich maker put them onto it immediately had small black dots on it.

I did removed it afterward, but when I got to filling my drinks, one drink turned out fine but the other one got to the point the Coke turned watery. What made it worse is just before, I tried putting ice on the second drink and the ice was covered in unknown black spots. At that point, I forgot my ham sandwich was supposed to have bacon and egg on it as well.

I understood that it would cost but 6 dollars was too steep, especially with the health code violations on this establishment I just witnessed. I left afterwards, getting the bacon and egg was not worth it. The only positive thing I can say is that the staff were nice at first, but grew agitated when I messed up putting the veggies onto the subs and then with the bacon and egg. BEWARE OF PRICE CHARGED. My friend and I went in and purchased two footlongs. She had ordered just a cold cut footlong. The price on the menu was the price for a cood cut combo. My friend notified that young cashier that she did not want a combo but yet my friend was charged a combo anyway. Then the cashier informed my friend that she was told to ring the sandwich up that way. So I guess management is telling her to charge people a combo price even when they just ordered a sandwich. This seems to be scandalous and scamming to me. There was another lady that was working also, and she told my friend that she would have to come back tomorrow to get a refund. Mind you, we are from out of town. So the other lady had to call management and go through the process to get my friend her refund. And as far as a refund, my friend should have gotten $3.29 back, which is the cost to turn your sandwich into a combo. Ever since I moved to Zebulon I have gone to this Subway. This was the first time I have not liked coming here. Every thing was fine when I was ordering and then I checked out, sat down and opened my sandwich and it was the wrong one. I didn’t take a bite of it so I brought it back to the counter and said it was the wrong sandwich. Paulette was the one to remake my order with a lot of unneeded attitude. I was still holding my wrong sandwich to where I would exchange it for the right one. Paulette then said “why would you hold the wrong sandwich, I was going to give it to that guy checking out, you messed everything up.” First of all why are you going to give the sandwich to someone who didn’t order that sandwich to then mess up another order. She then forcefully threw the sandwich in the trash and said for me to leave. I got the right sandwich and it was good but there was no need for all the attitude.
