We bought a couch and mis measured our entry way, therefore it was too large to get in our place. This was on a Sunday. We went there immediately Monday AM and explained the situation. (I had already called my CC company and they told me the transaction has not posted yet BTW) The owner WOULD NOT cancel the transaction before hitting the bank and then kept telling me the $ he would lose (4%) if he cancelled the transaction. Since it had not hit the bank yet, that would not happen. He refused to refund the $ and said he would only give us a store credit. I said I would then start a dispute with my CC/bank and we would be in touch. AFTER the transaction hit the bank, he called (Tuesday)and said he was now going to lose 4% twice...$100, if he gave us a refund. WHAT? First of all the first 4% would have never happened had he cancelled. Secondly, you DO NOT get charged a percentage on a refund, just sales. Long story short, we got the refund MINUS $100 to cover the fees he said he would lose. This guy is a sneaky snake. Beware. There were no signs about store credit when we were there. AND they say no refunds on ORDERS. We were taking a floor sofa, not an ordered one. BUYER BEWARE. I am filing a complaint with the attorney general so he is aware of this shady businesses practice. The store is beautiful, great products and amazing decoration, love it. Customer service is a joke. I came in, no one to greet me. I walk to the end of the story to find a lady filing her nails talking to someone. She asked when was she planning to do her nail because she was doing her right now. I was there, listening her conversation and watching her filing her nail. I was hoping she say "hey I have to go, I have customers" but no, she never hang up the phone or greeted me . Called this store in advance to get a price on a queen box spring and was quoted 90.00 Went to purchase the next day and the person we spoke to on the phone was there he went and got the box spring, rang it up for 90.00 plus tax. Before we could load it on the truck he tracked us down at another store to tell us he had to void the transaction or charge 169 plus tax. Very bad business. Very rude in store and the supervisor I spoke to at warehouse. Do not recommended. Beware of shady quotes to get you...
