Kings Wok — Restaurant in Florida

Edit 09/27/22 Third time was a charm. Tried the beef and broccoli once again and it was very good. The service was a bit of an issue as it felt like they didn't start cooking our order until we arrived at our quoted pick up time. Haven't had that problem until now so I won't ding them for that. The fried cream cheese wontons are still bad... actually... they're worse...in my case, you could actually hold the triangles up to a light and clearly see the smallest dollup of cream cheese....so, they're clearly mostly wonton. Anyhow, the main was delicious so I'll up my score to 3 stars for now .

I've tried this spot twice now hoping for basic, par level, Chinese quick serve food. While King's Wok has all of the offerings of a typical Chinese restaurant, neither of my rather expensive meals has been remotely good. My beef and broccoli last night was extremely salty and apparently small is the new large. My general tso's from the first visit was a gelatinous sugary mess. Both were edible therefore I can give this spot two stars...Oh, don't expect any overly polite customer service....You are the customer but you serve only as the transaction between this restaurant and...

This is a picture of their "Seafood Delight" listed as a "House Special". As you can see in the photo, it should be called "Broccoli Delight" as the dish is 90% comprised of this vegetable. When I called to complain, the staff said that seafood is expensive (this dish was $14 - a premium priced item) and was pretty much shuffled away. When I again mentioned my displeasure and that I would tell others about it, the male staff raised their voice and yelled, "you can do whatever you want". There was no offering to give me my money back or to replace the item. In the end, there's a HARD NO THANK YOU on going back to Kings Wok!!! Sn: the food was basic, nothing special. The location/space looked like it could use an update and a thorough reorganizing. The female staff that took my payment was eating (had food on her mouth when conducting the transaction) and only used one squirt of anti-bacterial lotion before...

My Family has been ordering from this restaurant for at least 15 years. The food is great! Yes sometimes not necessarily as superb as all the other times but isn’t that what happens in your kitchen?? As far as people being unhappy and asking for a refund in all our years of experience of eating or ordering food in Asian restaurants they just don’t give you a refund sometimes they may replace it with something else but most of the time they don’t do that. Is it right probably not, but that’s just the way they do things! These people work 15 hours a day seven days a week ( even on holidays) its a family owned business; even their children work there after school. People come from all the way across town to order here; passing up other Chinese restaurants.They try their best to please people, but you’re not going to please everybody. Sometimes people are just looking to get something...
