Where to begin! This place is thee adventure hub! We chose this as our honeymoon destination as we are a couple that can't just sunbathe on a beach. We love wakeboarding and this has been one of the best cable parks we visited!
Wakepark - One of the guys (Joe) at the cable park us some great coaching and managed to land a few toe side Tantrums (aka back flips). The wife even managed to hit all the obstacles and some air grabs & rotations (this is a big step up for her). Thanks to all the guys & girls at the wake park.
E-motorcross - I love motorcross and the e-bikes were good fun, the course was big enough to have fun on it if you are experienced and it is easy enough for a complete beginner. My wife has never done motorcross and she loved it, in fact she was the last one on the track and the marshal had to bring her in once the time was up!
MTB - we did a full day doing the single track bike park in Sölden. This was epic! Area 47 provided the bikes and all the protective gear but you need to make your own way to Sölden. We had a hire car and it was about a 35 min drive from Area 47 to the car park in Sölden. As long as you aren't afraid of heights then the MTB is well within your capability. We had a great guide and coached us as well on how to corner quicker on steeper sections. Lunch is not provided so remember to bring cash. We ate in the mountains at a place our guide recommended.
Waterpark - The waterpark area is great! Lots of slides, jumps, climbing wall, slack line, trampoline and a beginner 2.0 system for learning wakeboarding. Plenty of grass to go and relax on and a bar to get a beer or juice. If your brave enough there are a few high diving boards. Also they have a huge blobbing bag which is both great to watch and to have a go!
To sum up, this place is amazing and caters for all ages and abilities. We will be back as we had such an amazing time!

Muss leider eine schlechte Bewertung vergeben, damit es der Veranstalter vielleicht lernt.
Ich wollte mit meinen Kids (12J und 5J) dahin, sollte dann auch eine größere Truppe werden mit anderen Eltern und deren Kindern. Jeder sollte sich dann was aussuchen, worauf man Lust hat - und da ich mit meinen Kindern gerne Mountainbike fahre, wollten wir eine Tour buchen. Mein Junior ist 12 und fährt Big Lines in Bikeparks - wahrscheinlich besser als so mancher Guide bei Area47. Aber nein, wegen "versicherungstechnischen Gründen" ist die strikte Altersgrenze bei 14 - VIERZEHN! IMHO völliger Schwachsinn, egal wer sich das ausgedacht, festgelegt oder so beim Versicherungspartner unterschrieben hat. Es geht hier nicht um die fest installierten Wassersport Anlagen, nicht um Ziplines, Hochseilgärten oder vergleichbares, wo ich das nachvollziehen kann. Es geht hier um ein paar 0815-Normalo-Biker-Trails, die man mit einem Leih-E-Bike abfährt, dem Guide hinterher. Die Veranstalter sollten sich doch lieber hinterfragen, wie man die Voraussetzung "Mountainbike Erfahrung UNBEDINGT notwendig" überprüft. Der 100kg Karl Heinz mit seinem E-MTB mit Fahrradständer und Reflektoren behauptet dann auch, er verfügt über das notwendige Können, da er jeden Sonntag 2km durch den Wald zum Biergarten rollert. Kurz gesagt: lächerlich.
Wenigstens könne ja meine Tochter (5J) in den Indoor-Bikepark, aber nur wenn die "Ordner" vor Ort so nett sind und sehen, dass sie gut genug fährt. Puh, da bin ich aber sowas von erleichtert. Vielleicht sollte sie dort auch an einem Fahrkurs teilnehmen? Ach nein, das geht nicht, sie ist zu klein dafür... Bin ich nur froh, dass sie besser fährt als die meisten Kids in ihrem Alter. Immer auf Pumptrack und Trails unterwegs. Aber Altersgrenze oder Körpergröße ist doch viel aussagekräftiger, stimmt's, Area47?
Dass ich sowas von einem AT Veranstalter erleben darf, haut mich um. Österreich ist was Biken angeht immer super Familienfreundlich und entgegenkommend. Aber solche starre Altersgrenzen zu setzen ist einfach diskriminierend. Ich würde sogar sagen - typisch deutsch ^^
Ich hoffe, der Besitzer von Area47 denkt genauer drüber nach, was hier schief läuft und ändert es auch dementsprechend. Genau dafür ist diese Rezension da. So ein Verhalten kann ich nicht einfach hinnehmen.

Euere "Standards" sind ein Witz. Wenn man auch andere Rezensionen liest, merkt man, dass es nur heisse Luft ist. Vieles ist überhaupt nicht gut abgesichert, oft überfüllt, zu kurze Sicherheitsabstände und und und. Es schreiben nicht viele, aber die schlechten Rezensionen sind wohl zu 99% der wahre Zustand bei euch.

Sehr empfehlenswerter Action Park. Hunde sind bis auf der Water Area willkommen. Das a la carte Essen ist teuer aber gut.
Der Wasser Action Park bietet für jedes Alter eine Menge Spaß. Sonntag von 10:00 bis 12:00 ist hier nichts los und man kann die Hauptattraktionen ohne Wartezeiten nutzen.

Die Wake Area war super. Für uns Anfänger zahlte es sich absolut aus einen Wake School Vormittag zu buchen. Da hatten wir genügend Zeit (1 1/2 Stunden von 08:30 bis 10:00 um uns im Wakeboarde zu erproben.

Der E Motocross Parcour ist okay- in der Area 47 Werbung / Internet usw. wird einem suggeriert das man hier Sprünge machen und erleben kann- leider eine Fehlanzeige. Die Möglichkeit zum Springen wurde laut Auskunft des Guides vor Ort voriges Jahr abgeändert weil sich zu viele Leute verletzt haben - auf den Drucksorten und in der Area47 Werbung im Internet sieht man aber noch immer die Motocross mit ihren Fahren durch die Lüfte fliegen. Die Motocross dürfen nur in der Leistungsstufe 1 gefahren werden was für den Parcours okay ist der Spaß am kurzen schnelleren beschleunigen fehlt hier.

Das Frühstücksbuffett ist gut. Das Gebäck war super frisch und es gibt alles was es in all den andere Frühstückspensionen / Hotels auch gibt ABER es gibt keinen guten Kaffee!! Nur Filterkaffee ist in Buffetpreis inbegriffen. Einen Espresso oder Cappuccino muss man sich für teueres Geld bei der Theke kaufen und dann ist es ein 0815 WMF Vollautomatenkaffee der in den meisten Restaurants im Preis inbegriffen ist. Das is empfinde ich als arge Geldmacherei.
Das Essen im LAKESIDERestaurant ist okay. Es ist klassische Systemgastronomie wie in Hallenbädern / Freibädern. Die Pizza wird aus der Verpackung genommen und belegt und fertig... nicht besonders berauschend und dafür etwas teuer.
Das Riverhaus Bar and Grill ist eine Disco und ein Restaurant zugleich. Ich reservierte einen Tisch 3 Wochen davor und wir bekam einen Platz direkt neben dem Discoeingang. Der Kellner brachte uns zu unserem Platz kam dann aber 20 Minuten nicht. Als ich nach nem Kellner winkte kam dieser sofort und entschuldigte sich das er auf uns vergessen hatte - kein Problem. Das Essen kam dann aber innerhalb von 4 Minuten.
Das Esse war wirklich gut aber etwas zu teuer ! Beispiel: Mousse au chocolate Dessert 6,90€ ....

Ab 22:00 startet am Wochenende die Disco im Riverside Pub - hier trifft sicj dann die lokale Jugend mit den Gästen - sehr amüsant... zu Coronazeiten so viele Menschen eng an eng tanzen sehen war ungewöhnlich. Ein Selbsttest genügte ( ob dieser richtig gemacht wird, wurde von niemanden kontrolliert)

One big dissapointment. We went only for wakeboard and we traveled 8 hours from Czech Republic, the only possitive thing about this place is surrounding. Really beautiful hills and mountains and clear water. But the cable is terrible, short, placement of obstacles is one big failure, boyas placed totally wrong, staff is mean, we came for 3 days and we did not get lockers for our stuff cuz it was "full" and the parking is from cable 2km. And we had lot of stuff. Terrible waving, long queues all day, opened only from 12-13o'clock, limit 5 rounds. Maybe good for beginners who came to the Area to try various kinds of new acitivties but don't ever go here if you want to experience good wakeboarding. In addition, it is forbitten to take a bath here. The lake is very small, if you do bigger air trick, one is affraid not to touch the ground around the lake.

Very nice summer gaming slider.. One of the biggest slides in whole austria. Getting there is very interesting and beautiful countryside...
Very small and quite downtown... You can have a cup of coffee or a meal while kids are up around the slide area...
Waiting time is very long,, the later you arrive, the more waiting you will face..
Car parking lots are available but again if you arrive late (after 11 am) you will face difficulty in finding a spot for you.
The game is really fun and enjoyable for the whole family

Rainy but who cares, coaster runs in rain or sunshine! Traveled half way across the world to ride this coaster that I saw on the travel channel years ago and it lived up to my expectations, highly recommend to do it with no brakes! There is no way you are going to crash or fall off, the workers test the track everyday with no brakes to make sure everything is in proper order. Don’t miss the world’s longest alpine roller coaster!

It was a great experience to try this alpine coaster!! We went up the mountain hiking and enjoyed the view, the waterfall and the small artificial lake... you can feel the excitement of people going down with the coaster when we're approaching the top. From the top the view is awesome!! And going down the view is amazing!! If you have an action camera it is worth to bring it around...

Un lieu où vous pouvez faire plein d'activités avec vos enfants. Vous pouvez également vous restaurer sur place. Mais ils ne prennent pas la cartes, ce qui est un peu dommage. Pour payer les remontées vous pourrez utiliser la CB. Par contre, attention aux temps d'attente. Nous sommes une famille de 5 personnes. 2 adultes et 3 enfants. Chaque enfant de moins de 14ans doit être accompagné par un adulte pour faire la luge d'été. Donc comment faire pour en faire profiter chacun ? Vous devez le faire chacun votre tour et a chaque fois vous devez payer la remontée mécanique. Rien n'est fait pour les familles nombreuses. Un temps d'attente monstrueux. Nous avons attendu plus de 2h30 pour que tout le monde puisse passer. C'est beaucoup trop long et mal organisé. N'oubliez pas lorsque vous aurez payer les remontées + luges, que vous devrez prendre un tickets/numéro afin de faire la file d'attente en haut de la remontée. Autrement, vous faites la queue pour rien. Toutes les activités sur place sont payantes. Si vous y passez la journée cela peut vous coûter cher. C'est un peu dommage.

Beautiful place but be ready! It’s hard! It’s not an easy breezy walk, you’ll need to climb rocks and 50 cm high stairs. Especially hard after rain, it even wetter than usual. But the waterfall scenes are worth it. If you prefer going down, park your car at the very top, near the cable car and do the route going down from the Blue grotto, then take a bus back to the parking lot. But going down is also hard, so don’t underestimate this route. I took a star down since the city has very poor guidance to the parking lot of this route, we had some hard time finding where to park since some streets leading to this route were blocked due to road work and no clear explanation regarding the alternative routes was provided.

All around a great experience, we went up the canyon on 12:00, to go down the canyon on 20:00, after having spent an entire day hiking in the moutains above. It's a great way to get to Hoch-Imst, from where you'll be able to take a cable car up the Alpjoch, or ride on the alpine coaster, or see an alpine zoo, ...
It's best walked through either in the morning or at late afternoon, since there'll be less people in your pictures then. The path itself varies from "very pleasant" to "pretty rough", yet it's all very much doable for an intermediate hiker.
The canyon itself is absolutely stunning, we were able to take a lot of great pictures

This trail is amazing. We Climbed from the beginning to the alpine coaster in hoch imst, and then went back down by foot on trail 11, which is easier and shorter through the forest. It took us a few hours with 2 children, including stops for food and rest. The trail is not suitable for people who have trouble with climbing steps and a bit of rocks. Otherwise our 6 year old didn't have any trouble with it. The great scenery of the gushing water, waterfalls and forest was amazing. Rally recommended.

Ein Erlebnis für Groß und Klein!
Ein Naturschauspiel der besonderen Art .
Ab der Stadt IMS geht es direkt in die Schlucht hinauf an engen Felswänden , schmalen Passagen , Wasserfällen , Brücken und Tunneln.
Der Aufstieg gestaltet sich schwierig und doch sehr anstrengend .
An heißen Tagen unbedingt ausreichend Getränke mitführen.
Der Aufstieg geht über Stock , Stein und Fels . Stellenweise ist es sehr rutschig , daher ist festes Schuhwerk unbedingt zu empfehlen.
Für Menschen mit Platzangst ist es nicht unbedingt zu empfehlen .
Stellenweise ist es bei erhöhtem Besucheraufkommen doch sehr eng und kann ein beklemmendes Gefühl auslösen.
Ab 3/4 des Aufstiegs kann noch ein Abstecher in die blaue Grotte gemacht werden. Hier kann sich eine schöne Erfrischung gegönnt werden. Das Wasser kommt direkt aus dem Fels.
Oben angekommen wartet die nächste Liftstation und die Möglichkeit weiterer Aktivitäten um den Tag Actiongeladen fortzusetzen .
Der Aufstieg dauert etwa 1 1/2 Stunden (abhängig der Ausdauer und Lauftempo).
Wer aus der umliegenden Region kommt sollte mit dem Bus anreisen. Die Haltestelle ist nur wenige 100 Meter vom Eingang der Schlucht entfernt. Nutzer der Summercard können alle öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel im und um das Ötztal kostenfrei nutzen.
Mit etwas Glück erhascht man beim Aufstieg auch einige Adrenalinsuchende während Sie die Schlucht mit Neoprenanzug und Schutzkleidung im eiskalten Wasser herunter klettern .
Fazit : Es lohnt sich für alle die Natur und Bewegung suchen !

Wunderschöner Klammtrail. Parken direkt am Eingang hinter der Tourismus Info am Wochenende kostenlos ⚠️ unter der Woche ist der Parkplatz geteilt in Kurz- und Dauerparker ⚠️Dauerparker zahlen 2.50€ spottbillig. Von dort aus geht's gut beschildert an der Johannes Kirche mit WC vorbei in die Rosengarten Schlucht . Stetig ansteigend über teilweise enge wurzelige und feuchte Passagen ohne Geländer . Gutes festes Schuhwerk ist⚠️ dringend⚠️ zu empfehlen da der Trail alles bietet von flach Wurzeln nasse Natursteinstufen bis loses Geröll. Die Kinder und Familientauglichkeit sehe ich skeptisch .Mehrere überforderte Familien mit Kleinkindern die versucht haben die Schlucht talabwarts zu verlassen doch in arge Bedrängnis kamen und nur mit Hilfe aufsteigender Besucher die kritischen Passagen überwinden konnten. Absolutes NoGo sind Kinder in Plastikcrocks und Damen mit offenen Sonntagssandalen. Nun ja Unverbesserliche gibt's immer. Am Ende der Schlucht rechts über die Brücke Richtung Hoch Imst bis zur blauen Grotte die vllt. besser beschildert sein könnte. Über Hoch Imst den Weg Nr.11 zurück ins Tal übers Bergl nach Imst.
