This park was a terrible experience, I felt so unbelievable sorry for the animals.
- Their spaces were too tiny, and many times there were way to many animals in one tiny compound.
- The wallabys tried to hide away from the tourists, who continuously followed them, especially the children who just grabbed and pet them.
- No park staff was around to supervise. I assume they have too less staff, but we've seen a couple of French tourists trying to dress up a kangaroo to take pictures with it, and chasing after emus screaming. We intervened and reported this behavior to the staff, but the park staff first acted as if they don't understand us and then instead took out the rest of our group and left the French tourists in there.
- The whole place looks incredibly run down, there are shards and sharp corners everywhere, a friend of mine stepped into a pin needle and we were shocked - the animals could have stepped into this and nobody would have even noticed.
- Many areas were completely barren of green, which gave the assumption that most of the animals are not given food so they come to the tourists so they can feed and touch them.
- The birds seemed totally apathic, their spaces were so small they could barely fly. It broke our hearts to see a majestic and huge eagle in a tiny compound, how can an animal that big ever put into a cage? This is not animal-friendly at all.
- The bats were in a cage with bright lamps pointed on them.
- Parents didn't control their children, who ran screaming after the animals, trying to touch and pet them everywhere. The animals seem so apathic that they don't care.
- Everything looked very neglected, broke and barren.
It seems that for this park, it's most important that the humans have fun. Please, if you love animals, don't go this park. We spent a night in Wilsons Prom and saw so many of the animals there, wild and free.

I recently visited the Phillip Island Wildlife Park with my family and I must say, it was an amazing experience that is definitely worth every penny spent. This park is an ideal place to visit with your family, especially with kids. The park provides visitors with a unique opportunity to interact with some of Australia's amazing wildlife, including kangaroos and emus.
The free-roaming kangaroos and emus were such a delight to feed with the food bag that was provided to us when we bought the tickets. This made the experience even more exciting and fun-filled for the kids and adults alike. We were also able to see some other amazing animals like koalas, reptiles, and bird-kind-of creatures, which was a thrilling experience.
Despite my usual reservations about animals being caged, I must say that the staff at Phillip Island Wildlife Park takes excellent care of the animals. The animals are kept in spacious and comfortable environments that mimic their natural habitats, which is commendable.
The staff at the park were also very helpful and friendly. The park is well-maintained, clean, and well-organized, making it a great place to spend the day with your family.
Overall, I would highly recommend the Phillip Island Wildlife Park to anyone visiting the area, whether you are an animal lover or not. It's an incredible opportunity to experience some of Australia's amazing wildlife up close and personal, and to create some unforgettable memories with your family. So, if you're looking for a fun and educational day out, the Phillip Island Wildlife Park is definitely the place to be! Cheers 🥂

If you’re looking for an unforgettable experience with Australian wildlife, look no further than Phillip Island Wildlife Park! This gem of a park offers an incredible opportunity to get up close and personal with a wide variety of native animals in a beautifully natural setting. I consistently take all my guests here, and without fail, everyone leaves impressed and enchanted.
The park is home to an array of iconic Australian animals, including kangaroos, koalas, emus, and wombats. The interactions are truly unique – you can feed kangaroos right from your hands, which never fails to delight visitors of all ages. The staff is knowledgeable and passionate, ensuring that everyone has a wonderful experience while learning about these amazing creatures and the conservation efforts in place to protect them.
What stands out to me is how well-maintained and spacious the park is, allowing the animals to roam freely in a setting that mimics their natural habitats. It feels like a true wildlife sanctuary rather than just another attraction, which adds to the overall experience.
Additionally, the prices are extremely reasonable for the value you receive. It’s an affordable day out that offers lasting memories and a unique way to connect with Australia’s diverse wildlife. Whether you’re a local or a tourist, Phillip Island Wildlife Park is a must-visit destination. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to make special memories with nature!

While I have mixed feelings about this place, it's still one of my favourite things to do on Phillip Island.
Allow a couple of hours to walk around, but if your time is limited then at least visit the paddock where you can feed the emus and red kangaroos. The emus look intimidating from the outside but you should walk in confidently - once you're in there, it should be worth it.
There's also a range of other Australian animals around the park, including koalas and Tasmanian devils. The animals seem generally well cared for.
That said, it could all be so much better. The whole park needs serious upgrades and remediation.
The wetland/lake area in particular looks unnaturally degraded. It's seemed to get worse over the years, and it can't be good for the wellbeing of the grey kangaroos and wallabies that hang out down there.
I also find some of the smaller enclosures, especially for birds and reptiles, quite sad. The signage throughout the park is dated and minimal.
I'd love to see the park keep the animal interaction that makes it so great, while also being brought up to modern standards, even if it means a price increase and more focus on the close encounters.

Nice place to spend time with family, magic section is good to experience,
Entry and buying ticket can take long time, and would need to wait outside in sunlight for at least half an hour..once the tickets r purchased then the tour begins...the glass maze, bridge and some other magic stuff was fun,
Gravity room was kind of a creepy..theres a picture room that has an illusion to make one person look small n other person look big,,give that a try n make some memories..;-)
The scary room is not scary at all..u will end up in laughing at why it is not scary..😛
The tour is not guided so basically u would hv to explore things by yourself..so b as much curious as possible to hv most fun out of it..,
The maze outside does not live up to the expectation..the floor is not made out of grass neither the walls r made out of grass..and if u r smart enough to follow the foot prints..u will pretty much make it through the maze in first attempt..,also theres an emergency exit if u get lost but its rare to happen..
The entire tour can take up to 1-1.5hrs and is fine to experience it once in a life time....but it is not good enough to visit second time..,they should change activities and make it more interesting for the audience specially for the amount of money paid to buy the ticket..
The café is pretty basic with some sandwiches, snacks hot and cold drinks on offer..again wl hv to line up to get stuff on a busy day..
There is a souvenir shop at the end of the tour..that offers a wide range of products..u can also print the picture taken in photo booth for minimal amount of money...since its not possible to get a soft copy so better to print...
The golf area is a good place for kids n family to try..but can get boring too as all tracks look similar and if u r not a big golf fan..its not going to be a fun activity..
Plenty of parking spots available inside and around the park..and some open play area for kids and families to rest and have food..
Overall not a bad place to visit for spending 3-4 hours in a day.. i would suggest going early morning and finish before afternoon..

Awesome place to spend with friends and family. Love it, A Must visit if you are in Victoria !!!
It has become our tradition to visit Philip Island every year and we ensure we visit this amazing place. With every passing year we have seen "A Maze n Things" grow.
The new -Magic Manor was amazing and worth the ticket price. Even though we couldnt see the magic show (XMas eve), we had fun seeing things inside. Awesome attractions that we loved inside Magic Manor were:
1. Time machine that sends you 10 minutes back in time.
2. Optical illusions
3. Magical hat
4. Rabbit house and performance
5. Haunted house
6. Virtual haircut
There were a lot more and you should visit this place to experience its awesomeness.
Our experience started with the cafe where we sat on tables with puzzles on each seat. We spent close to an hour swapping chairs to solve a new puzzle. This area is free and you don't need a ticket for it.
We then entered the ticketed area where we went through gravity defying zone in which ball goes up instead of going down on billiard table and chair slides up. Then there was a room where you can picture yourself flying in air followed by the most popular pic zone. There was even a room where children look big in size while adults standing on other side appear to be smaller in height (pic is now paid, you cannot use your camera).
Then we went to a mirror maze followed by rotating tunnel which led to a big hall full of activities. Several activities for kids including a near vertical slide for adults is great. Special mention to the treasure hunt in this hall as that really made my kids think about the clues.
From here we entered "Magic Manor" which in-turn leads to the huge outdoor maze.
There is another upcoming attraction (express train), scheduled to be opened on 27th (yeah we missed it by 2 days, but who cares, we will come back next year).
There are many outdoor attractions: SkyWalk, golf, and swings.
Clean barbeques outdoors that run for 23 minutes on a special $1 token is a nice addition.
A perfect place to be for a day!!!

The mega mini golf is well maintained and lots of fun.
Inside there are table top puzzles to explore. You can also buy some of these in the gift shop.
The gift shop had lots to offer, prices are reasonable. My kids are still playing with what we bought so that's great!
The cafe is a little pricey, especially the ice creams but that's to be expected in a tourist town. The service in the cafe was fast, friendly and accommodating.
There is a Bbq area outside, tables and chairs and plenty of grass area if you want to bring along a picnic.
The maze was great, we only found out way to 2 of the 4 flags. Took us a while to find our 10 year old who ran off, lol, my advice is stay together if you don't want to be in there all day!
The inside section I think was called Puzzle Island I didn't get to explore as our 3 year old got frightened straight away and became very upset.
The staff were amazing!!! Very kind to us from start to finish. They really took their time to help my daughter feel better, just lovely and friendly and completely understanding of her emotions.
Children 3 and under are free and this makes total sense for us. Thank goodness for the playground area.
Bring a hat and sunscreen!
All in all we had a good time, would definitely come back when our daughter is old enough to enjoy it more.

We love A Maze N' Things! It made our mini holiday worth it! Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Love all the activities, puzzles and the magic room is awesome to look at!
The puzzles were very entertaining and challenging especially the jail treasure thing. Staff was very helpful and gave us information and instructions. It was very fun!
The best part is the maze! My husband and I together with our little one (10 months old son) took the maze as a challenge. We were so into it as we find the 4 flags! It was very challenging; best maze we had encounter.
The funny thing happened was we were so into the maze that we were still there near the closing time trying to finished it. We got locked up. Lol we had to call the reception to let them know we were still inside the maze. It was so funny, we had a good laugh with the staff!
Make sure to visit this place when you have a holiday in Phillip Island! Worth the ticket! To all the staff, thank you! We definitely love our experience there!

This is a great family theme park.
It has a mini golf, magic manor, puzzle island and a maze, as well as a high ropes climbing course.
The ropes course is only open on set days and times, so check before you go.
There is also a cafe with free games, large gift shop and a party room outside.
The entire park was clean and well maintained except for the mini golf. This section had what appeared to be mould on some of the fake grass around the last hole and some of the obstacles need maintenance and more signage would help.
We went in rooms that defied logic and others that scared us, we saw eyes in pictures move, walked across bridges, saw magic, slid down a terrifying slide, found secret rooms, controlled a train, played games and so much more.
We laughed, screamed and were left amazed.
Set aside approximately 3 hours to 1/2 a day to fully immerse yourself and to not rush.
Great day out, highly recommend.
Expensive yes, but you don’t have to do everything.
Located opposite the koala conservation.
