There is a different experience of peace by visiting the Matri Mandir. The temples are very nice. The grandeur of this temple is great especially during Durga Puja, only happiness and beauty is visible everywhere. I am just sorry for one thing, that the members of the temple do not consider themselves less than anyone. Their behavior towards others does not appear to be right,rest .. Best wishes

Matri Mandir is an old Kali Temple, every year Durga Puja being celebrated there. This year pandal theme is Jorasako Thakur Baari, the residence of Rabindranath Tagore. In addition to puja celebration, evening cultural programme is a major attraction wherein, leading Artists from Kolkata are invited to perform, not to miss the mouthwatering bengali snacks corners all around.

Simple and beautiful composition of art... After getting the blessings one can enjoy their meal with nos. Of option their.. from paan to kulfi to veg to non veg. To everything during Durga Puja time... Lovely decoration.. great parking arrangements... Great arrangements for public to enjoy during Durga Puja.. overall it should be in must go checklist during Durga puja

Matri Mandir (Kali Bari) located at Safdarjung Enclave Block 2 is a Maa Kali Mandir, is a very nice place, operated by the Bengali Community In Delhi. You can witness Sandha Arati here. We stayed here for 7 days. A very good Dharmashala. Here they have a canteen where Bengali food is served. They also cook for the patients on request.

It's trucker away in the residential area of Safdarjang Enclave Delhi and visibility is through Mala's extensive network. A terrace verlooking a vibrant plumeria /Champa tree was a delight.
