๐ฎ๐น Found the most Chinese-friendly pasta in Italy! ๐
In Milan, I had the most satisfying pasta meal at a restaurant run by Chinese owners! Highly recommend the asparagus and shrimp pasta โ it was my first time trying this wide, flat, hand-made pasta, and it was absolutely delicious!! A single portion is totally enough for one person. Note: thereโs a โฌ2.5๐ถ cover charge per person. ๐ Asparagus & Shrimp Pasta The noodles were kinda like ho fun (rice noodles), but chewier and more satisfying than traditional round pasta. The cream sauce was super rich, and each strand was coated perfectly โ so fragrant! We originally wanted to wait to take a photo with all the dishes, but the staff reminded us to eat it hot since the noodles tend to clump if left too long. We ended up finishing the whole plate before the second dish even arrived ๐โค๏ธ ๐ฆ Tomato Lobster Pasta This came with half a lobster and tomato sauce tossed with round pasta. The lobster meat was springy and tasty๏ฝ but personally I still prefer cream sauce. By the end, we even mixed the leftover lobster pasta into the cream sauce and finished every last drop ๐ ๐ฆ Grilled Seafood Platter Includes fish and shrimp served with lemon. Pretty standard flavour and not a huge portion. Personally feel like itโs optional. ๐ Lemon Yogurt Granita The restaurant also treated us to a cup of lemon yogurt granita โ sweet and tangy, perfect to cleanse the palate at the end!
