🇮🇹 I’m in Love with Milan (Food Edition!)

If you just want to check Milan off your list, one day might be enough. But I highly recommend staying TWO days!! 🎉 One for eating, one for exploring—trust me, you’ll need it! Milan stole my heart with its stylish clothes, beautiful bags, and endless delicious food. I ate and shopped until I literally stumbled back to my hotel… exhausted but happy! 🛍️😋 1️⃣ Marchesi 1824 ☕ – Near Duomo Recommended by a friend who worked in Milan for half a year—and it did NOT disappoint! Perfect for a morning coffee and pastry. So popular that even standing spots require waiting! Almost all customers were locals/expats. 📍 A bit tricky to find: Use Google Maps, then look for a staircase on the right leading to the second floor. 2️⃣ CIACCO 🍦 Their gelato flavors are creative and unique—you might struggle to choose! In a country full of amazing gelato, this place stands out. A must-try! 3️⃣ Osteria Da Fortunata-Brera 🍝 Handmade pasta alert! Super popular with long lines—for good reason. Located in a cute alley in the Brera district, they offer various pasta shapes (wide, round, you name it!). You can even watch the staff making fresh pasta through the glass window—so fun and delicious! 4️⃣ Pizzium-Via Arco 🍕 Great pizza with a chewy, thin crust—served quickly too! I’m personally obsessed with the crust (yes, the part some people leave behind 😂). 5️⃣ Xiao Hutong Malatang 🍜 I tried this hot spot in Chinatown, but it was just okay—6.5/10 for me. Milan’s Chinatown is still a food heaven though! With Cha Bai Dao, Sister Ji Fried Skewers, and tons more—so many options! 6️⃣ Gelateria La Romana 🍦 Saved this gelato place on my list but was too full to try… someone please go for me! 🥲 It looks absolutely amazing—my FOMO is real! 🚇 Getting around Milan is easy—metro + walking works perfectly. Apple Pay accepted everywhere! Also, highly recommend exploring the Brera district—full of trendy boutiques and cute streets. And of course, the area around Duomo is a must-visit! Anyway… I’m absolutely in love with Milan 💖 Such a fashionable city with endless food and fun. Next time I’m flying from the UK just to shop… and eat everything I missed! #Milan #FoodDiary #FoodRecs #MilanEats #ItalianCuisine #GelatoLover #StudyAbroadLife #TravelGram 🍝🇮🇹✨
