🇮🇹 Milan’s Two Sides: Renaissance Grandeur ✨
We only spent one day exploring Milan on foot, and it delivered both architectural awe and quirky surprises. Here’s our route—prepare for a lot of walking! 🚶♀️💨 ⛪️ Duomo di Milano Absolutely breathtaking! A Gothic masterpiece with 135 spires and 3,400 statues. Climb to the top and watch the golden Madonna statue bathed in morning light. Still in awe every time I look back at my photos. 📸✨ 🛍 Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II The “drawing room of Milan” under a luxurious crystal dome. Perfect for shopping and espresso breaks! ☕💎 💀 Chiesa di San Bernardino alle Ossa A dark chapel decorated with human skulls lining the walls and ceiling. Eerie frescoes + bone architecture = Gothic lover’s dream. ☠️🕯️ 🖕 L.O.V.E. Sculpture (Il Dito) A bold middle finger statue in the middle of the financial district. Peak rebellious humor. 😂✊ 🏰 Sforza Castle + 🌳 Sempione Park Step into the Renaissance for free! The castle houses Michelangelo’s final work, Rondanini Pietà. The back gate leads right into a lush, relaxing park—ideal for a recharge. 🍃🧺 ❗️❗️ WARNING: Watch your belongings! ❗️❗️ Pickpockets are everywhere—especially on the metro and around the cathedral. Wear your backpack in front 🎒, and avoid anyone offering “free” bracelets or trying to tie threads on you! 🚫🧶 #MilanTravel #Milan #Italy #ExploreItaly #EuropeTravel #TravelEurope #DuomoMilano #TravelPlog #StudyAbroadLife #TravelInfluencer
