šŸ‡®šŸ‡¹ Milan 2-Day Travel Guide:

Milan is quite compact except for a few spots (like San Siro and Casa Milan), so two days are enough. If you’re only visiting Italy, stay near the high-speed train station; if you’re heading to other countries, the Duomo area is livelier and more convenient. Day 1 ā˜† Milan Cathedral (Duomo di Milano) šŸ›ļø The landmark! Must climb to the top—every angle is a photo opportunity. ā˜† Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II šŸ›ļø Connects the Duomo and La Scala Theatre. Grab an Amorino gelato at the entrance for a classic Duomo photo. Luxury shops line the arcade, and don’t miss Pasticceria Marchesi for a (vintage green) afternoon tea—their cakes are delicious! ā˜† Food: Chain pizza at Spontini šŸ• So cheap and tasty! I was mesmerized watching them make it. Just go for the Margherita—I tried three other flavors, and none compared. Fair warning: the local anchovy one might be an acquired taste šŸ˜… ā˜† Biblioteca Ambrosiana šŸ“š Home to Da Vinci’s manuscripts, Raphael’s School of Athens sketches, and Caravaggio’s Basket of Fruit. Highly recommended—check my previous notes for details! ā˜† Leonardo Da Vinci Monument 🧠 Right outside the Galleria, with La Scala Theatre behind it. The statue features Da Vinci and his four apprentices, incredibly lifelike. ā˜† La Scala Theatre (Teatro alla Scala) šŸŽ One of the world’s most famous opera houses—the Mecca of opera! Spot statues of Puccini and Rossini in the hall, plus exhibits of iconic costumes, photos, and memorabilia. Day 2 ā˜† QC Terme Milano Spa šŸŒ§ļøšŸ’¦ The viral "storm spa"! Book via their website (qc termemilano.com). Near Porta Romana metro station, southeast of the Duomo. Amazing ambiance—not just the storm room but also Roman-themed baths and even a creepy surgery-themed chamber 😱. The outdoor area has pools, a mini train, and lunch options. Best visited in the morning, with lunch there before leaving. ā˜† Santa Maria delle Grazie (The Last Supper) šŸ–¼ļø Arguably Italy’s hardest-to-book attraction—sometimes unavailable even for a premium. Book at least a month ahead! ā˜† Casa Milan (AC Milan Museum) ⚽ A must for AC Milan fans—almost all the treasures from San Siro are here. Check my last post for details, but note: it’s not easily accessible (closest metro: Lotto). ā˜† Bosco Verticale (Vertical Forest) 🌳 Spotted on the way back from Casa Milan—twin towers with trees on every balcony. A stunning sustainable architecture landmark! ā˜† Traditional Milanese Food: La Piol šŸ½ļø Locals recommended this spot. The breaded veal cutlet (cotoletta) and saffron risotto with osso buco are incredible—the cutlet might be Europe’s second-best after Austria’s šŸ˜‹. If you see "typical Milanese" on the menu, order it! With an extra day, hit Pinacoteca di Brera, Sforza Castle, and Leonardo da Vinci Museum of Science and Technology. But if short on time, the above itinerary is perfect! #Milan #EuropeTravel #ItalianFood #StormSpa #HotSprings #ItalyTravel #MilanFashionWeek #LifeInMilan #ImmersiveSpa #ACMilan #DaVinci
