🇮🇹 Milan Duomo | Surrounded by Delicious Food 😋
I only had half a day in Milan, so I spent it circling the Duomo — partly to find good food, and partly to walk it off so I could eat even more! 🚶♀️🍽️ 1️⃣ Caffè Napoli Giardino Their Caffè Pistacchio is amazing! 🥜☕ The pistachio cream is fragrant and not too sweet — perfect with espresso. The crushed pistachio on the cup rim is both tasty and pretty! (Bonus: They have a restroom! 🚻) 2️⃣ Galleria Iginio Massari Milano Cream buns! I got the chocolate one 🍫🧁 I expected it to be overly sweet, but it was a delicious surprise! The cream hid a hint of chocolate with a subtle orange twist 🍊. The cream was smooth and milky — so good! ℹ️ Only standing tables inside — outdoor seating costs extra. 3️⃣ Panzerotti Luini Time for something savory! 🥟 This place is super popular — crowds of people standing outside eating panzerotti (fried pizza pockets!). They’re pre-made due to high demand, so mine wasn’t super hot and the mozzarella didn’t stretch 😢… but still tasty! Not oily despite being fried. One is good, two are perfect — I even took one to the airport for dinner! ✈️ 4️⃣ Ciacco Gelato time! 🍧 The staff handed me an English menu and patiently waited while I decided. I went with the recommendations: Hazelnut Chocolate and Bissap (hibiscus). The Bissap was incredible 💐 — floral and slightly tart, super refreshing! The hazelnut chocolate was mildly sweet with whole hazelnuts inside — smooth and satisfying. #SweetsHealEverything #Italy #Milan #DuomoMilan #MilanFood #CreamBun #Gelato #Espresso #Panzerotti #MissingItalyFromTheUK
