Find Things to DoFind The Best Restaurants

🇮🇹 Milan Food Diary | Le Chalet

There are quite a few Western-style restaurants run by Chinese people in Milan, but this one is truly delicious (another great one is Sottomarino — specializes in seafood and is also amazing!). The shop looks super simple from the outside — I almost thought it was a sketchy place 😅 — but the food exceeded all expectations! 🍝 Signature Cream Pasta ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Recommended by many on Xiaohongshu, and for good reason! Their pasta is handmade — we even saw them carefully arranging the fresh sheets right after we sat down. The noodles are cut thin, so they hold the sauce perfectly. Every bite is pure joy 😋 Asparagus and tomato bits balance the richness of the cream, making it light and refreshing. One portion is just right for a girl — perfectly satisfying. 🥩 Steak ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ No joke — this might be the best steak I’ve ever had! I usually don’t love steak (I suck at cooking it myself, and restaurant versions are often just meh). But this one… wow 🤤 The owner said it’s sliced before roasting, so every piece is evenly cooked with a hint of pink — so tender! Seasoned simply with olive oil, black pepper, and rosemary, but incredibly fragrant. We even used bread to soak up every last drop of the olive oil. We devoured it all — bones included 😂 🦞 Lobster Pasta ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My friend ordered this — I only had a taste, but it was rich and delicious (took a while to come out because they reduced the sauce slowly — totally worth it!). But next time, I’m still getting the cream pasta 😉 🐙 Fried Seafood ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Pretty standard Western-style fried seafood — optional, in my opinion. The batter was a bit too dry and hard for my taste. At the end, the owner treated us to lemon sorbetto — I joked, “Is this a reward because my friend ate so well?” 😄 The four of us were STUFFED (like, still full lying in bed at 1 AM 🫠). We finished one basket of bread and asked for another — wiped every bit of sauce from the pasta and steak clean. The plates were cleared too fast — I didn’t even get to photograph our clean plates victory 🏆 Final bill: €125 for four (rounded down — ~€30 per person) including €2.5/person seating fee. #Milan #MilanRestaurants #ItalianCuisine #MilanFoodExplore #MilanEats
